"Mom....? Mommy.... Please..Don't... Please...Wake up!" the red haired child yelled and yelled at the body, tears swelling up in her yellow eyes, soon flowing down her cheeks leaving wet streaks on them. The hospital grew quiet as the beeping had run flat, turning into a quiet constant. However in her mind..it was the only thing she could hear, like it was a ring in her ears she couldn't get rid of. darkness took her over as she watched her sunshine drip through her fingers, her only light.. she felt alone.. she knew that after this it was going to be over.. her father would have rights over her, the moment she thought that, the swirling sinking feeling into a hole that was too deep to get out of hit her like a brick wall, going home wouldn't do any good for her, hiding under the sheets hoping maybe there was a chance this was all just a dream wouldn't save her from the nightmares of life. "this is all just a nightmare..This is all just a nightmare.." kage had mumbled to herself as she backed into the wall away from the body, she was right, this is all just a nightmare..and she's never waking up...

She couldn't take it anymore, only being at the age of 8, she ran away from the nightmares, from the hospital, like a kid she ran away. the light crunch of her feet hitting the snow forcing memories to shoot through her mind. Kage had always loved snow, it's something her and her mother- her sunshine had always enjoyed together, but now only darkness lit her way. After running for a few blocks she finally got home and ran upstairs to her brothers room, the sound of the child's little feet echoes through the seeming to be empty house "K-kagi!" she yelled for her brother, but there was no answer, no sign, no nothing, it was dark in his room she could barely see. After seeing this she ran to her own room, jumping onto her bed and hugging her doll "chichi... I don't want to be alone..I want things to go back to like they were before! It's not fair!" the child cried into the doll cat, hugging it wanting to have any kind of feeling of safety.

"Kaaage" a deep male voice yelled from down stairs, it was him, her nightmare. she quickly hid under the bed with her doll. The creaking steps of the stairs echoed in her mind, soon the steps lead into her room, a tall and scary figure stood in her doorway. "Kage I know you're in here." Her father.. "there's no point in hiding young lady" his deep voice became louder as more steps were heard, two pairs of shoes stood at the edge of her bed as she could hear her heart beat in her ears as her body visibly shook. soon a hand slipped under the bed and grabbed her leg tightly, she let out a loud yelp as it dragged her away from her feeling of safe. Clutching onto the doll her father looked her eye to eye as he held her up "Go down stairs, into the van down there.  before you even Think about running away, you're brother is already in there." he set her down and crossed his arms "we'll get you're things later." she quickly ran down stairs, before he came down she ran to the kitchen and grabbed some food quickly stuffing it into her shirt, sweater, and pockets, she also grabbed a knife,  she knew her father all too well. after that she did as he instructed and went to the van, it smelled of animal, a bitter sent whispered in the air as animal traps and cages were in the back of the van, leaving little space for the kids to be seated. Kage quietly sat down on the floor of the van by her brother and slowly looked at him. It seems as if the seats in the back were ripped out from their place to make room for more things.

His eyes were always something she liked about him, they were always filled with joy and lightly colored yellow, even if he was a very rambunctious kid. Now..They were filled with darkness. He knew this was the end of the line, he knew what his father was going to do to them as he wasn't a normal man, he didn't live in a normal house, he didn't have a normal job. he was a crooked man who lived a crooked life. He was a scientist, he was a Cruel, scientist. Dr.Akuma. known best for his Human experiments, and always being interested in the talk of demons. Dr.Akuma found them to be interesting. Now, Anyone with a sense of mind would know that these two things should Not mix. it's just common sense, but Dr.akuma was the only acceptation to this..

"Now, you know where to take them, I'll meet you there I have some things I need to take care of." the doc stated to the driver as he then walked off into a dark ally way beside the house. The Driver soon drove off, kage slowly peeped her head out the window just to see her house one last time, she knew they weren't going back. By the look on her brothers face she knew.
minutes went by quicker then hours, the drive was long and the children were hungry, and the driver didn't give a care in the world for them. "h-hey..kage.. I'm hungry.." kagami stated as he held his stomach, his voice sounded weak and lost. Luckily for kage's smart thinking she pulled out a packet full of crackers. kagami seemed surprised by his sister. Slowly they both ate the food until it was half full, they then put it aside in case they needed the food for later.
