Jean and Armin were nestled in their sleeping bag, it was a double sleeping bag so they could share their body heat. Jean noticed that Armin was shivering.

"Hold on a second, Armin.." Was the one thing he said before leaving the tent.

Jean poked his head through everyone's tents, asking them if they were wearing their jackets.

Jean opened up Reiner and Bertholdt's tent and asked them.

"No, I'm actually a little hot cramped up in here. Armin can wear it since he's cold.." Reiner explained.

"I hope he warms up soon.." Bertholdt smiled before Jean left the two to sleep and got back into his and Armin's tent.

Jean sat Armin up and put Reiners jacket on him.

"Reiner's not using it. There, it's nice and big so it covers your whole torso, instead of just the top." Jean smiled and the two lay back down.

Armin snuggled up close to Jean, burying his face in his chest. Jean blushed.

"I'm sorry, am I too close?" Armin asked without looking up. Jean wrapped his arms around the smaller boy.

"No. You're alright.." He smiled as the two drifted off to sleep.

Everyone woke up the next morning, except for the small blonde boy. Everyone was sitting around what used to be the fire, drinking their milk.

Mina looked around. "Someone's missing... there's only thirteen of us.." She said.

"Armin's still in dreamland.." Connie laughed.

"I'm going to wake him up, he won't sleep tonight otherwise.." Jean replied before setting his beverage down and going back inside the tent.

"Wakey wakey.." Jean smiled as he shook Armin. He woke up and rubbed his eyes. The two went back outside.

Armin took off one of the many jackets he was wearing and handed it to Reiner, who put it on.

"Thanks for lending it to me.." He smiled.

He took off his second jacket, leaving him only wearing his own. He gave it back to Jean.
