No one in the boys ward got any sleep that night, mainly due to them being kept awake by the rustling of Armin's blanket and bedsheets as he tossed and turned all night, or being woken up by the sound of him heaving, in which case either Eren or Jean had to get him a bucket and hold his hair back and rub his back. The rest just sat up and spoke to him, keeping him calm, Connie got up to refill his water bottle too.

Armin started gagging again. Jean was half asleep by this point. Eren rushed out of his bed when he heard his childhood friend gasping for air.

"Jean, Jean, Jean, Jean, Jean, wake up!" Eren yelled as he quickly went over to Armin's bed and comforted him. Jean sat up.

"Hmm?" He replied, half asleep.

"Jean get the bucket!!" Eren screamed. Jeans eyes widened and he raced out of bed, grabbing the bucket and placing it on Armin's lap, holding his hair back.

There it went, all the medication and food Armin had been trying to hold down. Everyone else was awake by this point, and Connie was at the side of Armin's bed with his water bottle ready for him. Armin finished and took a big swing of his water, washing out the taste of acid in his mouth.

"Hey, take little sips at a time.." Eren advised.

"Thank you..." Armin gasped. "I'm sorry for waking you all up again.."

"Hey, It's Okay, it's not your fault..." Bertholdt reassured the blonde.

"If you can't sleep we can always stay up with you until you feel sleepy..." Marco smiled.

Everyone nodded, sitting down in a circle on the floor of the room, with a blanket laid down underneath them.

"So? How about that training huh?" Reiner sighed.

"The one where we almost died or the one where we almost died?" Jean asked sarcastically.

"The one where we almost died.." Thomas replied.

"It was really cold..." Armin spoke softly as he reimagined the days spent in the frozen forest.

"But we survived. We pushed through because we're strong. Especially you, Armin..." Jean glanced at the blond who was snuggled against him for warmth.

"Me? What's so different about me?" The smaller boy asked.

"You kept reassuring us, telling us that we were going to live. When all hope was lost, you were our little ray of sunshine..." Jean smiled.
