Kanan's POV:

I admit I was being stupid, I was trying to steal something from one of the elite troopers and I wound up being caught, but I was very impressed when Hera took out the troopers, she jumped from a boulder and tackled a trooper and then she shot 2 troopers with one blast! When she took out all of the troopers, she blasted the handcuffs off my hands and said smiling "huh, you're a troublemaker huh?" and I smiled back at her and said, "you could say that". I told Hera to follow me, and she followed, as I walked beside her I glanced at her a few times and then when I looked at her again she glanced at me and immediately looked away, there was a bit of an awkward moment, and then I sighed, and Hera looked at me and asked "you okay?" I nodded, then she looked directly at me and said, "are you sure, cause' it doesn't seem like you're okay?" I glared at her and said, "I'm fine, really". The truth, I wasn't necessarily okay, I wanted to tell Hera thank you for saving me, but I didn't know how.

Hera's POV:

I knew something was wrong with Kanan, but he just wouldn't tell me, I felt bad, I think I made Kanan upset, but he wouldn't tell me. I asked him, "hey..are we friends, or just acquaintances?" he answered, "of course we are friends, for God's sake you saved me" I smiled and said, "good"> Then, he told me, "the truth is, I wanted to tell you thank you for saving me" I replied, "oh, you're welcome" then, Kanan said, "if you really knew me, you wouldn't have" I looked at him and said, "of course I would, I'm Hera Syndulla, I rescue people, and fight the Empire", then, Kanan perked his head up and looked at me and asked, "wait, you're against the Empire?" I nodded, "so am I" Kanan added.

Kanan's POV:

I couldn't believe it, Hera was against the Empire, no wonder why she saved me, I was expecting her to run away, but she actually saved me.
