Reaching You

I met you unexpectedly
I never thought your that friendly
I'm just a mere stranger who randomly came to your life
I never thought meeting you would change my life
You're amazing just the way you are
And I'm like a fan trying to reach a star

Oh! A***** the great!
You're the cutest person I ever met
The coolest and bravest person I ever know
At the same time the most fragile one as it shows
You inspire people with your deed;
The strong and fearless one I make friends with.

A lot of things I wanted to tell
But I can't find the words to spell.
You're wearing an armor that is unbreakable.
And I'm hiding behind a barrier which is invisible.
Will I be able to break through?
Or will it remains, to divide me and you.

You are vast as the ocean,
Tons of those hidden emotion.
Wide and deep as the blue sea,
There's more in you, than a naked eye can see.
Will I ever reach you out?
Or will I forever shut my mouth?

I want you to know what I truly feel
But I'm too shy and afraid to tell
You're close and yet so far
What should I do to make you near?
Will I able to reach you out?
Or I should stop reaching you now

Author's Note: Hi guys! 😊 This poem is written last sem. It's about a friend of mine na I can't reach out. I really want her to open up to me but no matter how hard I try she's too far to reach. I have a co-writer with this poem. This the first English poem I ever wrote. I don't really fond of writing poems but recently I just come to love it. But I prefer writing Tagalog poems.
