(Ts to after vidcon, they're just going to the beach house)
"Are you excited?" Dan asks me.
"No shit, Sherlock." I stop jumping up and down to give Dan a bored look. I really am excited.
"Ok, ok. I was just asking to make conversation, you douchebag. I like your hair, by the way." He looks at my head and smiles. We'd just dyed it, and Dan had helped me.
"I'd hope so too! You chose the colour, and you did most of it." I say, smiling.
"Should we dye my hair? Like, for a video?" He asks me, a puzzled look on his face.
"No, never. I love your hair!" I answer, maybe a little too quickly. "I mean, it would look great, but dye doesn't feel great, and with short hair it gets everywhere." I had to stretch the truth a little, just to sell my point.
"Ok, I won't do it if you wouldn't like it." He wraps an arm around my shoulder. "You look cold. Actually, it is getting a bit cooler now."
(Here is Aspen's outfit):
I only have a t-shirt on, because I had stupidly packed all my jumpers in my backpack. I'm also too lazy to get any out."You know there's a swimming pool? At the beach house?" Dan turns to me and sees me shivering, so he takes off his jacket and puts it around my shoulders. "There."
"Thanks. And, yes, by the way. I'm excited." I say, mustering up as much enthusiasm as I can.
"We have to go tonight, we can't miss it" Dan leans down and whispers into your ear.
I turn to face him and he smirks at me. As I'm about to say something, the taxis get here and everyone piles into them, after putting their bags in the back.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.
"I'm so excited!" Zoe squeals from the passenger seat as we pull up to the beach house.
"How did we get this place? It's amazing" I say, peering up at the massive villa, right in front of us.
(Here, a rough idea of what it looks like 😂):
"I have no fucking idea. All I know is that we're lucky" Dan chuckles and takes my hand to drag me into the house.
It'a absolutely huge, winding staircases, countless rooms and it's all in white and dark brown. The floor is a deep brown wood, and the walls are white, the stairs are too. It's amazing.
"So, we sorted out rooms last night." Caspar says, and everyone nods. "Couples get the biggest ones, since it's for two people. Aspen and Dan in the master, and Alfie and Zoe in the second bedroom. Phil, third, Louise fourth, me in fifth- actually, everyone knows where they are; just go" he laughs and everyone cheers and goes to grab their bags.
"We got the master bedroom?" Dan asks.
I shrug. "I dunno, they were joking about 'not wanting to hear us' or something, I really wasn't paying attention."
"Ooh, something caught your eye?" Dan whispers, as I open the door to the bedroom. His warm breath hits the side of my face as he kisses my cheek and looks at the room before us.
(Here):
"Wow" I breath out.
"This is amazing, how did we actually get this place?" Dan stands up straight, and heads over the window.
"An answer I would like to know" I chuckle to myself a little.
"GUYS? We're going swimming!" Joe shouts from downstairs.
"Already? We just got here, and it's getting late" Dan laughs.
"Meh, it's four. A little bit of time until it gets too late." I say, glancing at my watch.
"It will be too late by the time I'm done." Dan walks over to me and kisses me softly.
"Mhm? And done with what, may I ask?" I question, in between kisses.
"You'll have to wait and see." Dan smirks, and backs you up, your back against the wall now.
Suddenly, I pull back and turn my head to the door, to see an angry Joe.
"Fuck swimming, then, I guess you guys aren't going." He says and turns his back, about to walk away.
"What the fuck is your problem? You're my friend, Joe." I shout, and Joe pauses for a moment.
"Kinda hoped you would be more." Joe mutters to himself, as he walks away. However, I don't hear this and get angry that he's being so rude about everything.
"What a twat." Dan mutters, as he closed the door and gets his phone out, laying one the bed.
"Shit, this is comfortable." I say, joining him.
"Yeah. I already love it here." Dan says, turning to you.
"Let's just try to forget whatever the hell that was, okay?" I look into Dan's beautiful brown eyes.
"Yeah, I kind of am to be honest." He says back, pulling me close to him for a hug.
Wrapped in his arms, enclosed in his warmth, I feel safe and protected. A feeling I've craved my whole life. Security and pure bliss, all in one.
"I thought we couldn't miss swimming, Howell." I whisper in his ear.
"Well, we shouldn't, I suppose, Brenner." He kisses my cheek and stands up to get changed to go swimming.
"God, we just told Joe we weren't going, he's going to think there's something wrong with us!" I say, laughing as the realisation hit me.
"But he wouldn't be completely wrong...." Dan chuckles from the bathroom.
"I hate you."
"Love you too, boo!"
