So I um
Created a new species?
It's kind of like a canine-feline mix thing
*hence the nameDescription:
Canfels are typically long and lean with a strong muscle build. They have a thicker fur around their neck that represent a mane of sorts. On average, an adult male stands 3'10" tall and 4'7" long, while a female stands 4'6" tall and 5'3" long. Canfels have nonretractable claws. Their coats are sleek and are usually suited to their habitats. Their eye colors genuinly depend on what their pelt color is. The paw pads are either black, pink, brown, or gray depending on the pelt color. Typically, they become mature adults when they become three years old.Fur, eyes, and pads:
-(Cliff) Black/dark (red, brown, gray) fur = yellow, purple, or green eyes and pink or brown paw pads (on rare occasion: red eyes, patched or gray paw pads)
-(Spring) Red, brown, silver, or tan fur = yellow/orange, gray, brown, or black/dark eyes and pink, brown, or black paw pads (on rare occasion: patched paw pads - pink and black)
-(Tundra) White, gray, or blue-gray fur = blue, green, pink, or purple eyes eyes and gray or black paw pads (on rare occasion: red eyes)
-(Lakeside) Yellow, orange, or pale (yellow, orange, blue/gray, brown) fur = blue or green eyes and black, brown, or patched paw pads (black and gray) (on rare occasion: brown or black eyes)Patterns on the fur, such as stripes, spots, patches, etc... are common.
Kingdoms:
They live in kingdoms. Generally, there are four separate kingdoms: Tundra, Lakeside, Cliff, and Spring. Each of the kingdoms holds a section of land that best suits the abilities of its members. For example, members of the Cliff Kingdom have strong leg muscles and can easily jump and climb through the mountains and canyons that decorate their territory. The Lakeside Kingdom lives by a bay (did you think I was gonna say lake?), so they are excellent swimmers. The Tundra Kingdom thrives in the cold, with their thick pelts and rigid claws. The Spring Kingdom holds the fastest runners, best hunters, and strongest fighters out of all four kingdoms. The Lakeside Kingdom has the smallest territory, while the Spring Kingdom holds the largest amount of land.
There are specific rules and roles that govern the kingdoms. There is either a king or queen in each tribe. The throne is passed down peacefully to the most suitable son or daughter (decided by the council) of the leader when the time comes. If there are no heirs, then any challenger is welcome to try for the throne. Usually, it is decided by a battle. The fight is supposed to end with either the ruler or the challenger to tap out and the other taking the crown, but it often ends with the death of one.
Members of a tribe can switch from one tribe to another if they so please, but this usually isn't the case.
Names:
Names can vary depending on the kingdom. The Tundra Kingdom's names are generally snow and ice themed, such as Snowball or Aspen. The Lakeside Kingdom tends to have names featuring water or sand, like Coral or Finn. The Cliff Kingdom has names such as Marble or Jasper. Finally, the Spring Kingdom has names that revolve around the flora and fauna of the forests and plains, like Hunter or Willow. Sometimes, a name such as Wisdom or Grandeur comes up with any of the kingdoms.Diet:
Canfels are omnivores. They can eat fruits and plants, but they tend to favor meat. So, they hunt. Usually, they just hunt in groups of two or three, or they just go solo. Canfels usually don't need to hunt much, as they can go days without needing food.If you would like one (or multiple), you can comment a description. They cost nothing at all. Be sure to include the name, pelt, eye, and paw pad colores, the kingdom, and any scars or accessories if you so choose. You can add a personality as well, if you'd like. I'll be sure to make your character as soon as possible.
***I'm gonna be using the "base" that I made and have provided. I'll just be coloring it.
