Beyond the Veil (main poem)

Black intricate lace

Covers her face

Hiding her beauty from sight

Let this angel take flight

Her veil turns white

As she writes

Look beyond the veil

She looks frail

Discover the inner child

Seek the wild

Make her strong

Like all her songs

She does belong

Beyond the Veil

She will one day sail

Away from this misery

Like an eerie mist

In the midst

Of a moonlit kiss
