You are probably wondering 'Wow. That was straight forward'. Well it's true, I am deaf . Today I'm going to a public school for the first time . I'm very scared so my mom is helping me with greeting people, A.K.A.....the mirror .
" Mom, this isn't gonna work . Ughh, I'm a freak . " I said as I turned around and sat down on the bed next to my mom.
"Honey no it is gonna work . And your not a freak ."
"Mom you don't understand. No one wants to be around a girl with a hearing disorder "
" Chloe, I get it . But you said you were tired of a school full of deaf people though, you have me in a corner hun"
" Sorry Mom . I'm just overwhelmed. "
" I'm going to get breakfast ready. Just breathe and go take a shower " mom says as she gets up and heads to the door.
"Okay Mom, I love you"

My mom is a single mom, but it's not my dad's fault. He died of cancer when I was little, now it's just me, my mom, and my brother, David. He is 14, but he is normal .
