(Kurt's junior year, Blaine's sophomore year)

Kurt and Blaine walked down the halls of McKinley, hand in hand. No one seemed to care-or notice for that matter. They stopped by Blaine's locker.

"I've got to get to class, I'll see you at lunch," Kurt said to Blaine, who was grabbing his books.

"Ok, love you," he replied, glancing to Kurt as he walked away and the bell rang.

"Hey, you!"

'Oh, no,' Blaine thought. He watched as Puck approached him and held him against the lockers, slamming his closed. Everyone had already cleared out of the hallways.

"I told you to leave Kurt alone!" Puck growled, causing Blaine to flinch.

"I'm not going to hurt him! I promise you!" the boy insisted, like every other day this happened.

"You better not," he growled back, removing his arm from holding Blaine against the lockers.

After school, Blaine went to Kurt's house. Blaine was sitting on the floor, his back against the bed, while Kurt was laying on the bed, staring at nothing on the ceiling, his head upside down next to Blaine's. They sat there, in comfortable silence, doing nothing.

"What're you thinkin' about?" Kurt asked, clearly bored.

Blaine sighed, "I don't know." He contemplated whether to tell Kurt about the situation with Puck or not. "It's just..."

"What is it?" The taller boy turned on his stomach and faced him.

"Do you know how protective Puck is of you?" Blaine started, "He comes up to me everyday when you're already in class and threatens me to keep you safe!"

"Wow, really? I'll talk to him tomorrow about it." Kurt promised. He was immediately bored again, not worried about speaking with his friend the next day.

Kurt had to assure Blaine he would be fine, and eventually got him to go to glee practice, leaving him alone. Surprisingly Kurt didn't care if he was late for glee. He saw the boy with the Mohawk walk into the boys' locker room. He followed him in and was immediately caught off guard by the intense smell.

"Puckerman?" Kurt called. He didn't see where he walked off to.

Puck went out from behind the lockers to see who it was. "Oh, hey there Kurt, I was just about to walk to glee. Why aren't you there already?"

"Actually, I needed to talk to you about somethi-"

"I didn't do it!" Puck exclaimed, holding his hands up.

"No, Blaine told me you've been 'threatening' him," he said with air-quotes. Puck looked down, avoiding eye contact. "I mean, I knew you would be protective, but it's been happening everyday. I was just wondering why."

Puck immediately got defensive. "He's just gonna leave you in heartache, he'll leave you behind."

"Calm down, Noah! Blaine makes me happy, and I do appreciate you care, but it's-" he was cut off by Puck's lips on his.

Kurt didn't kiss back and pulled away in shock. "I-I have to go." Puck left the room and left Kurt standing in confusion.

When he got to glee practice, he sat next to Blaine, unnoticed by Mr. Schue.

"Where's Puck?" Kurt whispered looking around the choir room, worried. "He didn't come in here?"

"No I guess not, but how'd it go with him?" Blaine asked. Kurt didn't want to tell him what happened.

"I, um, couldn't find him," Kurt lied.
