"Could you explain to me why we're getting coffee in the middle of the day?"
"Because Blaine, that Elliot works at the Lima Bean."
"Are you even sure it's the right Elliot?"
"Hm I never thought of that- oh, well I'm still doing this."
"Also I'm still confused on why we're doing this in the first place."
Kurt pat him on his gelled head. "Aw my little confused boyfriend. It's ok."
"Hey, I'm only 3 inches shorter than you." Blaine pulled the car into the coffee shop's parking lot and Kurt got out faster than Blaine finished his sentence.

"Oh my god he's actually working," Kurt said as he walked in.
"Wait, if you didn't think he would be working, why'd we come right away?"
"Well, coffee is good at anytime of the day." Kurt looked at Blaine and smiled. "You stay here I'm gonna ask him something."
Kurt walked up to the counter and Elliot greeted him with a flat toned, "Hi, welcome to the Lima Bean what can I get you?"
"Do you know anyone named Noah Puckerman?"
The barista suddenly looked up, "Why? What'd he tell you about me?"
Kurt ignored his questioning and assumed that was a yes. "Why'd you guys break up?"
"Can we talk about this later I get off in 5." Elliot looked around and expected him to leave. "Oh do you actually want something?" He laughed in embarrassment. "Sorry what can I get you?"
***
Kurt told Blaine to wait in the car while he talked to Elliot. He left, but reluctantly. Elliot sat down at the table Kurt was at with his own coffee.
"Who was that? He looked familiar."
"My boyfriend. He went to school at Dalton with you. That's actually how I found you."
"Oh... Why are you here anyways?"
Kurt was suddenly wondering if Puck would even appreciate him doing this. "Well, Puck told me about you guys having a bad break up and he was totally wrecked earlier today."
"Is that all he told you? The real story is that when he told me he was changing schools, he said he didn't want rumors about him having a boyfriend floating around and said 'it would be best to end it now.' I guess having a closeted boyfriend was a bad idea in the first place." Elliot looked down at his coffee.
"Well, if it's worth anything, I can tell he misses you."
Elliot looked up at Kurt and paused. "I would be lying if I said I didn't still miss him, too."
Kurt smiled. "Good to know..."
"What are you up to?"
—————
Kurt walked out of the coffee shop and back into Blaine's car. "Wow that was lucky, it was the right Elliot! Ok, let's go. I think I might-"
Blaine cut him off, "Can you please tell me what this is for?"
"I already told you, Blaine. I'm reuniting old friends."
"You know, you're a really bad liar." He started the ignition.
"It's ok, you'll find out soon enough."

"I got the popcorn ready to start the next movie." Blaine was lying on the couch waiting for Kurt, but Kurt walked out of the hallway ready to leave. "Wait, are you going home?"
"Yeah I have to talk to Puckerman," Kurt said. "Movie time will have to wait for now."
Blaine huffed. "Again?"
"Can you just drive me to my house?"
"Ok, you asshole," Blaine said, supposedly joking.
"Well, well, mr. grumpy..." Kurt laughed which caused Blaine to smile. "Yay I got a smile outa you!"
"Whatever." Blaine tried to hide his smile, but Kurt was too lovable.

Later, in the car...
"Blaine!!" Kurt screamed.
"What?!"
"Look at all those chickens." He pointed outside the car window to pigeons by the sidewalk.
"What the fuck, Kurt you can't just scream like that while I'm driving."
Kurt laughed. "Ok I won't do it again."
Awkward silence.
"Blaine you seem stressed-"
Blaine was quiet.
"KURT!!!!" Blaine shouted and swiveled the car a little.
"Oh my god what?!" Kurt put his hands to his chest and was breathing heavily.
"Haha got you!"
"BLAINE DEVON ANDERSON!"
