"What do you want to see?" Puck said as they looked over the list of movies that were playing.
"Whatever I pick, you're not gonna like," Kurt said, looking towards him.
"Ok then how about The Sorcerer's Apprentice?"
"I don't care, sure."
Puck paused. "Are you okay? Ever since I picked you up from your house, you've been distant."
"Well, I sort of blew off Blaine to come here," Kurt stated and felt ashamed.
"Don't feel bad. You're allowed to have friends other than your boyfriend."
"Yeah I guess." Kurt tried to keep his mind off Blaine and on the movie.
After they left the theater, Puck got a text. "Oh, Kurt I just heard someone's having a party tomorrow. Wanna come?"
"I promised Blaine, I'd go to dinner with him," Kurt said, but saw the disappointment in Puck's face. "But I'll try to go after... Do you mind if I invite Blaine?"
Yes. "No, that's fine." He looked away and they walked to the car in silence.

Kurt and Blaine sat down at Breadstix after school. The waitress came and took their orders. She grabbed the menus and walked away.
"Do you want to go to a party tonight?" Kurt asked, for some reason hoping he didn't have to tell him it was Puck who invited him.
"Sure, but don't think you're getting me drunk tonight," Blaine laughed.
"Yay!" Kurt was excited to spend time with his boyfriend without letting his friend down. They talked until it was time to pay for the meal, and then they left for the party.
***
When they pulled up to the address the party was at, music was blasting from the house. Puck saw them enter and approached them.
"Kurtie's here!" Puck had obviously had a few drinks already. "And Blaine," he greeted coldly.
"Nice to see you, too, Puckerman," Blaine returned the tone. He also looked surprised to see him here and wondered if Kurt knew he would be here.
"Come on, Blaine, come with me to get something to drink," Kurt said preventing the two boys from attacking each other.
"Oh I'm not going to drink anything, I have to drive you home."
"I'll go with you, Kurt," Puck said as he glared at Blaine before walking away.
—————
"I honestly don't know why you keep him around." Puck shook his head as he poured himself and Kurt a drink.
"Puck don't even start," Kurt started, "And I can get my own drinks."
"Yeah, I know but so could Blaine! Don't you think he's kind of a buzzkill at parties?"
"He's being safe, ok? Why can't you two just get along ever."
"I just don't like him! Here's your drink. I'm going dancing," Puck sounded offended.
Kurt walked around until he found Blaine again. "There you are. Dang, this house is big. Are you sure you don't want anything to drink? I could call a cab later."
"I'm good," Blaine stated and walked towards a couch.
"Ok, your choice! I'm gonna go dance!" Blaine watched Kurt run over to Puck and wanted to leave more than he already did, if that was possible.
***
After an hour and a half of pure boredom, at least in Blaine's case, he decided to walk around. He didn't seem to know anyone there, but one guy did come up to him named-what was his name? 'S' something?- whatever he was named, but Blaine waved him off because he gave off this strong eBay-chipmunk vibe. He was really creepy and all over him.
Eventually he just ended up sitting outside the large house alone. That was before a very drunk Kurt found him.
"Hello, Blaine Warbler!" Kurt yelled loudly, slurring his words.
"Shh, you're being really loud..." Blaine helped him sit down next to where he was sitting. "What have you been up to?" Blaine smiled, waiting to hear the undeniably hilarious answer Kurt was going to say.
"Welllllllll," Kurt started, holding out the first word for a long time...
(About two hours before: Flashback)
Kurt ran up to Puck and started talking while halfway dancing. He drank all of the alcohol from the first cup he would have out of many that night. Kurt had had enough drinks to contribute as too many to count after only half an hour, and was clinging on to Puck to stand up straight.
"That's enough for you tonight, mister." Puck was struggling to keep Kurt up and had to sit him down.
"No! Drinking's really fun!" Kurt whined. "I have to go pee, actually."
"Ok up you go," Puck said as he walked Kurt to the stairs and up to the bathroom. It was a work in progress, as Puck was still drunk himself.
Kurt headed into the bathroom of one of the bedrooms, leaving the boy to wait on the bed. Puck didn't even hear Kurt come out until he sat next to him.
"Why'd ya do it?" Kurt said with slurred words to Puck.
"Do what?"
"Why'd you kiss me?"
Puck sat there. "Fine. I guess you won't even remember this anyways," he sighed and looked at Kurt. "Last year, before I came to McKinley, I had a boyfriend. I wasn't out or anything but we loved each other.
"We had a really bad break up before I changed schools and when I came here I just wanted to get over him. I didn't realize I had a crush on you until a couple weeks ago, and I guess I wanted to see if they were real... so I acted on them. Because that meant I was ready to move on. I don't know, I think still love him...
"I swear it'll never happen again."
Kurt thought about the story he was just told, but ignored the serious vibes. "Wanna dance?"
"No. No, I don't. Sorry"
"Fine I'm going back downstairs to find Blaine," Kurt said stubbornly.
"Ok, you do that. Good luck."
It took Kurt forever to find him. The first half hour he was just circling the same place over and over, without realizing. By the time he had found Blaine, Kurt's drunk brain had replaced what just happened with Puck with dancing and drinking.
(Back to Kurt and Blaine outside of the house)
"... I danced, and drank a lot, and I mean a lot," Kurt said with his arms opened wide as of to compare the amount he drank. "I think I left Puck somewhere sometime ago."
Blaine couldn't help but snicker at Kurt's very confused look on his face. "Sounded fun," Blaine kept smiling at the child-like mood being drunk put Kurt in. "You want to go?"
"But we just got here!"
"We need to get home, Kurt."
"Fiiiine."
