Chapter 16: strength
"Ok focus" Ayianna said. The bend my knees ready to strike. She wanted me to brake a huge oak tree. My heart was pounding in my chest, my fists were shocked with power.
I ran towards the tree. All of the sudden Ayianna nocked me down. I landed on my arm. "Ah!" I yelled. Tyler came running outside. "HEY WHAT THE FUCK AYIANNA!" Tyler yelled in a demon voice.
"Tyler, she needs to learn" Ayianna said. I slowly got back up feeling my arm dwelling with pain. I shook it off. I failed a couple times. Tyler was pissed, seeing me fall every time.
I faced the tree, pissed. "Ok, I'm ready" I said. I ran after the tree. Ayianna tried to push me, but my anger gave me strength. I nocked her down. Her faced was filled with shocked. Take that bitch! I walked and touched the tree with a finger. "I win" I said with a sassy look.
"Good job babe" Tyler said clapping. I walked to him and gave him a hug.
"She's ready, but wait. There's one more step. You need to be able to escape them and see the past too" Ayianna said getting up and wiping the dirt off. I walked to her.
"Close your eyes. Imagine you and your mate running along a river. Having a blast" She said. "Now try running" She said. I opened my eyes and ran. Its like I spawned where I wanted to go, but I ran. It was SO cool!
"Good now the final step. Be able to see the past" She said. "Listen to the birds, insects, and my voice. Pretend that no one is around to hurt you" .
There was a pause. "Now open your eyes" She said. I opened my eyes. It was like I was surround by ghosts, but wolves.
There wolves running past me in a pack.
"Hey Andrew! Keep up!" The alpha yelled. I shook my head and they were gone. "Holy shit, that was cool" I said rubbing my eyes.
