Rudolph Quits His Job

Author's Note: This wasn't a paper I had to write, but it was a cute activity we did in my writing class so I thought I would post it.

Dear Santa and Santa's Team

After years of being taunted and teased for having a different and irregular trait compared to my peers, I'm sorry to announce that I've decided to quit. I know that for the past several Christmases I've helped guide Santa's sleigh, but unfortunately I've had enough of the taunting and bullying. It has prevented me from making friends and more importantly, being happy.

I've decided that until I figure out what I want to do, I'm moving to the woods and looking out for lost baby deer to help guide them back to their families safely.

Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

P.S. I didn't want to let Santa down, so I asked one of the elves to make him one of those bright lamps to guide him through the foggy night. It should be done and ready to us before Christmas Eve.
