I don't know how long we sit in the bathroom floor, but sooner or later we hear a knock on the door. I stand up and open the bathroom door to see Calum standing there.
"Can I talk to you really fast?" He asks, glancing at the floor where Ashton sits, now on his phone.
"Uh Huh." I say, walking out and following Calum. We sit in the empty living room.
"What's going on, Elaina?" Calum asks, looking excited.
"Well..." I start.
"Are you two like, together?"
"I, uh, think so."
Calum just holds a finger up, as if to say, "Gimme a second", then he walks down the hall to the bathroom.
Let's be glad it wasn't Michael's personal bathroom, yuck.

"ASHTON IRWIN I AM SO PROUD OF YOU." I say, excitedly.
"What?" Ashton laughs.
"YOU DID IT, YOU ACTUALLY DID IT."
"Did wha- oh, yeah."
I sit down next to him, pinching his cheek. "My little boy's growing up."
"I'm older tha-" Ashton starts.
"DO NOT RUIN MY JOY."
Ashton laughs.
"I'm serious. I knew this was gonna happen since day one." I state.
"No, you didn't." Ashton scoffs.
"Okay, maybe I didn't, but I knew before either of you did."

I open my phone (which was silenced), to see seven messages.
Dad- WHERE ARE YOU!
Dad- If you're at one of those boys houses, I'll know.
Dad- I'm about to file a missing persons report, then you'll have to come back.
Dad- Please, honny, I'm sorry for snapping.
Dad- I won't hurt anyone, if you'll just come home.
Dad- Don't ever talk to those guys ever again. tho.
Dad- Okay, okay, I.take it back, JUST COME HOME PLEASE.
I sigh, tossing my phone onto the chair across from the couch, where it lands safely.
"What's going on?" Luke asks.
"My dad's an idiot." I sigh. My throught tightens, and I know that I'm about to cry.
"I'm sorry." Luke says.
"I could use a hug, you know." I say, my voice pinched as I try not to cry.
"Well, I'm here, and I like to hug people, so...?" Luke says, coming and hugging me.
I release my tears, and a strangled sob comes out of my mouth.
"Don't cry, it'll be alright."
"I can't- I- He-" I try to say multiple things, but my cries shut out 90% of my words.
Luke just sits there, holding me, as I let myself cry.
