Giovanni POV:
Months have pass since Alissa was killed.
I replayed her death in my head over and over. It always put a smile on my face.
I made my way down to the basement and smirked in satisfaction when I saw my men placing the dead bodies of our enemy in a storage crate to send to their remaining family. Bruno and Gregor pushed the crate to the truck and went to deliver it.
Ever since Alissa was killed, I've made it my duty to kill every last person in her family. We've been making great progress.
Dante and David turned to me.
"Who's next?"
"Alissa's cousins are the last two survivors of that family. We'll wait until they get our present and then we'll attack."
"And what happens after that?", an annoying voice said.
I turned to see Juliana standing behind me.
Juliana was Victor's "girlfriend".
Victor treated her more as a 'friend with benefit' than an actual girlfriend.
A few months after Victor and Juliana begun their quantum relationship, Juliana witnessed a few of my men going to work in the basement. I planned on having her killed, but Victor begged me not to. He even went as far as branding her arm with the Italian Mob's crest to show that she was one of us. We only have 5 woman on our team so far.
"Why are you still here?"
"I'm not interested in dragging dead bodies to people's doorsteps. I'm interested in what you're planning to do after you kill Alissa's cousins."
"None of your damn business, Juliana."
I began walking away from her.
"Fine. I just thought that you'd be interested in finding Alissa's sister."
I stopped in my tracks.
Sister?
"Alissa was an only child."
"No. She had an sister who got put up for adoption at birth 29 years ago."
Juliana pulled a file out of her oversized purse.
"I've been tracking her. Her name is Tamara McDowell. She grew up in foster care until the age of 15. She was adopted by a nice older couple, but the adoption was revoked when she was 17. I lost track of her after this until she was 19 when she got arrested for shoplifting. She currently works as an waitress at some diner in New Orleans. She has no kids and never married. She lives in a cheap hotel. I put her work schedule in the file along with her work address."
"Well, lets go."
I turned around to see Tony and Victor standing behind me.
"What are you doing here?", I asked Tony.
"I came to help. I feel guilty about what happened to Aria. I want to help you on your quest to killing off Alissa's bloodline."
"You have nothing to feel guilty about."
"Alissa thought Aria was Valeria. She wanted to hurt me. Not you. If we never left..."
"Don't. If you stayed, Valeria wouldn't be here. Those beautiful kids of yours would be without a mother."
He nodded.
Victor, Tony, and I hopped in the car that my driver had already pulled up out front.
Juliana kissed Victor goodbye.
"Be careful."
"I will."
I rolled up the privacy divider as the car went in motion.
"So, where's Mrs. Andiacchi?"
"Valeria is on an spa retreat."
I chuckled.
"I remember when her and Aria were obsessed with those when Aria got pregnant."
There was an silence in the car for a few minutes until the driver rolled down the divider and spoke.
"We will be teaching our destination in less than 45 minutes."
He rolled the divider back up.
"So, what are you going to do to the girl?", Tony asked.
Sometimes he acts as if he wasn't the Boss of one of the biggest mafias in the country.
"You already know what I'm going to do, Tony."
"Why? That girl didn't even know Alissa."
"You're starting to sound like Valeria. Why do you care anyway?"
"Because she's innocent. She knows nothing about Alissa or the life her family chose to live."
"She's still apart of the O'Donnelly bloodline."
"She doesn't even kn-."
"Will you two shut the hell up already?", Victor yelled in the car.
The car suddenly stopped.
We looked outside to see a small diner.
We all got out the car and walked in.
The diner looked even smaller from the inside.
It has a retro theme and was decorated with red and blue booths and black tables.
I looked around and saw that there was only one waitress working the whole diner.
We sat at a booth and looked at the menus on the table.
"Can I get you boys some drinks?", A sweet voice asked.
I looked up and saw a tall red headed woman standing near me.
Tamara.
The picture Juliana gave me did her no justice. In the pictures, she looked plain. Simple. But in person, she looked like a model. She was slim with wide hips and thick thighs.
I scanned her face and noticed her high cheekbones and mesmerizing dark green eyes that reminded me of the Chicago lake on St. Patrick's Day.
I stood up beside her and pressed my gun against her.
I heard her breath hitch.
"If you scream, I'll kill everyone in here."
I could feel her shaking against me.
"We're gonna walk out that door slowly and you're going to get in my car. Do you understand?"
"Yes.", She whispered.
I withdrew my gun and grabbed her hand.
We walked out the diner and got into my car.
Tears rolled down Tamara's face.
"The time for grief has passed."
"What do you want?", Tamara cried out.
"I want you dead."
The car began driving away from the diner.
I smiled deviously at her.
I'm going to enjoy this.
