A/N: I'm illustrating my story now! It won't be colored because of school. But I will color them on Winter Break.

So for now you all will have to deal with sketches and possibly outlines.

David sighed, "I can't believe you two! Especially you, Nikki. I expected less from you." The counselor turned his attention to Max, who had his hands rested in his hoodie pocket with his normal death glare pasted on his face. "Max, you know you're not allowed to leave camp on a Thursday." Max rolled his eyes. "No shit. I'm not an idiot, David." Gwen raised an eyebrow, "Then why did you leave if you're so smart?"
Max groaned, standing up. "It's because I'm tired of this shitty camp! I actually want to enjoy my time without being scrambled in David's goddamn activities that no one gives a shit about!" David looked down at Max, his expression angered. "Max, language!"
"Honesty, I agree with Max." Nikki spoke between their conversation. "See? Jesus, David, I'm not the only camper here that wants to leave this fucking camp!" David did a short sigh. "Yes, Max. I understand your concerns. But at least join our activities."
Max glared at him, "If I say yes, would you leave me the hell alone?" David nodded. "Yes, Max. Just for you to understand. I can't promise anything." The young boy rolled his eyes, his arms crossed. "Yeah, whatever. Come on, Nik." Nikki jumped off of her seat, walking outside with Max.

Max took a breather to calm down once Nikki and him were far from the councilor's office as possible. Nikki shook her head. "David won't give up on trying to get you to like this place." Max looked over at her, "I'm going to be honest, I was surprised when you agreed with me. I thought you liked Camp Campbell." His voice was neutral as he slightly raised an eyebrow. Nikki shrugged. "It's okay."
Neil walked up to them. "How was it  with David and Gwen in the office?" Max glared at Neil. "What do you think?" "Horribly." "Ding ding ding! You're correct." Neil sat down next to them. "Well no wonder. David and Gwen immediately noticed at started freaking out." Nikki tilted her head. "Was it that obvious we were missing?" Neil nodded, his expression a tad confused. "I guess so... I noticed but didn't do anything of it because I assumed you were off on some adventure. But once I noticed it's been a few hours, I started to worry."
"I doubt David's letting us out of his sight." Max groaned, laying his head down on the grass. Nikki rested her head on her palms with an annoyed sigh. "Yeah..." Neil looked over at the two, hugging one of his legs. "That's both of your faults. I don't know why you should've thought ahead before you left camp." "Shut the fuck up, Neil. No one asked for your opinion." Max snapped. Neil rolled his eyes, "I'm just saying,"
Nikki stood up, walking towards the forest. Neil and Max watched her, both of them sitting. "Where are you going, Nik?" Max asked curiously. "I... I'm just going for a walk." Max hopped up to his feet, "Mind if I come?" Nikki turned her body slightly to face them. "Not at all,"
"May I come as well?" Neil asked politely. Max turned his head to the science boy, "Of course not, Neil. Go fuck off and do whatever nerdy science shit that you like doing." Neil stood up with a scoff. "I'll have you know, Max, that my nerdy science shit is the reason of why everything is here." Max rolled his eyes, resting his hands in his hoodie pocket. "Whatever, nerd." He turned back around and lead the way, Nikki close behind him as Neil walked his own way.
"So, what new adventure are we doing today? Y'know, without Neil," Nikki looked over at Max. "Hm... we could prank someone! Like Preston." Max shrugged, "Actually... I'd rather do something else..." he stopped his tracks. Nikki stopped as well, turning to face him. "Alright! What do you wanna do?"
Max said nothing, only leaning over to kiss her. Nikki's face burned as she pulled back, giggling. She brushed loose hair behind her ear innocently. "When I wondered what you wanted to do, I didn't think you meant that." "Well it's the only thing I could think of," Max said with a sly smile.
She blushed, attempting to cover her face with her hand, looking down. Max lifted her chin gently, kissing her cheek.

.:Meanwhile:.

"I still can't believe those two." David sighed. "Should we do something about them?" Gwen looked up from her "trashy book" as Max called it. "I guess we should do something. We shouldn't get them into the habit of leaving camp every day."
David nodded, sitting down next to her. "You're right, Gwen. But where would they be?" Gwen shrugged her shoulders, as she gave her suggestion, "We could try to follow them to see what they're up to. But we have to wake up hella early." "Well, that's not a bad idea. I'll follow them while you watch the other campers." "Alright, sounds like a plan."

.:The Next Morning (5:30 AM):.

Max stood up with a tired grunt, rubbing his eyes. "Shit... what time is it?" He said after looking outside to see the stars still awake from the dark blue sky. He looked over his shoulder to find  Neil asleep, but Nikki was missing. The hell?
He jumped off of his bed, yanking on his hoodie once he reached for it. He stepped a foot outside and into the immediate smell of the pine trees.

After searching practically everywhere, he made it to his last destination: the ending of the forest that lead to a giant lake.
He noticed a dark figure on one of the many piers. "Hello?" Max walked up to the unknown shadow. The figure turned its body around, showing the familiar face of a green-haired girl whom had a bandage on her left cheek. Her expression was rather shocked and a bit afraid.
"Nikki? What the hell are you doing up this early?" Nikki sighed in relief. "Oh, good. It's just you, Max." He sat down next to her, shoving his hands into his hoodie pocket. "You didn't answer my question, Nik. What are you doing up this early?" Nikki looked over at him. "I should be asking you the same thing." She retorted.
"Well, I randomly woke up to find you missing from your bed. So I got my worried ass up to find you." He explained shortly. "Now it's your turn to answer." Nikki looked down at her feet that hovered over the cool water, her head rested on her palm. She simply shrugged.
"I don't know what time I got up, but I noticed you and Neil were still asleep, so I went out to go for a walk." "In this weather? You could catch a cold! Here," he tugged off his hoodie, handing it to her. She looked down at it, but shook her head once she looked back up at him. Max gave a slight glare before pulling it over her head. Nikki blushed slightly, looking over at Max.

"Thanks Max." She managed a light, warm smile.
"What are you two doing out here?" Shouted the known voice of David. They both jumped, swiftly looking behind them to see David marching up to the two.
