Chapter Five

Hello my peeps! Lovely day! So I hope you enjoy this chapter. Uhh... I don't own anything except for the story. Now let's get to it.

Naruto's POV
I woke up with the warm sun shining in my eyes and the fox nudging my side. I was excited because first of all today was my first day at the academy and second right before I went to sleep I thought up names for all of the animals.
(I'm only going to name the 8 main ones because the others aren't really important.)

Snake: Orochi (Male)

Hawk: Taka (Female)

Leapord: Hyou (Male)

Ferret: Shiroitachi [Shiro For Short] (Male)

Lion: Isamu (Female)

Owl: Fukurou [Fuku For Short] (Female)

Frog: Kaeru (Female)

When I told them all their names they smiled at me happily and told me that they loved them. I got dressed and said good-bye to them as I went out the door and into the forest. I stopped a couple of times to just listen to the nature around me but I snapped out of it when I realized that I was going to be late. On the first day! So with inhuman speed I ran out of the forest and onto the grounds of Konoha.

As I speed walked by I noticed the deathly glares that I got from a couple of the villagers but I decided to ignore them and continue to walk in a comfortable silence. Before I could realize I was at the front of the academy. Half of the contentment that I felt before was now gone and replaced with nerves.

"It's okay Kit." Kurama said reasuringly.

"But what if they're mean to me Kurama. I can't fight back and I can't defend myself."

"It'll be all right, I promise." Then Kurama started to sing and I slowly started to relax and quietly sang along.
