Finnick, I love you but I hate it when you do this.

“Most exhausting day ever” I said pushing the door

“Where did you learned to fight like that?” Alex asked surprised

“I convinced her to enter to a self-defense class” my mother said while I sat on the sofa

“They surely are useful” Finnick said

“You kicked that boy’s ass” Alex said laughing

“Totally” Finnick said

“Who’s?” Mom asked

“Nobody’s” I said trying to keep her off her mind

“A guy from District 7 that was after her” Alex said, I sightly stepped on him and he stood straight getting it

“Harry?” Mom asked sightly opening his mouth

“I think” Finnick said, I will murder him while he sleeps

Mom popped her eyes and a little vein was coming out, oh boy here comes the drama

“Emma! 2 days ago you were dying because he was in the games, then you were super excited you finally met him and now you are punching him and stuff?”

“Things change” I said

“Not like that, tell me, what happened?” 

“He’s a jerk, that’s what happened” Finnick sighed he probably knew what I meant

“I guess is late, you guys can have dinner and then go straight to sleep, tomorrow will be a very long day” Mom said sightly glaring at me, walking in her 'I'm so dissapointed at you but I won't ground you so I'll make you feel bad acting angry' kind of way, I'm used to this

 Alex went to his room to change and Mom left the apartment while I watched TV along with Finnick,

“I heard what happened” Finnick said

“Jo told you?” 

“No, Harry did”

“What did he told you exactly?” I said turning to him

“He told me he wants to explain everything and tried to make you listen to him” 

“So…” 

“He convinced me to” He said smiling; he stood up

“Finnick no” I said cuddling myself in a corner of the sofa, he picked me up and started to laugh, “Let me go!” I said while I kicked randomly to the air

“You know Emma, I survived this game called The Hunger Games and your kicks don’t hurt” He said laughing

“Finnick” I said upset with a puppy face, “At least let me shower first” 

“Ok, ok” He said rolling his eyes playfully and put me on the floor

“HAHA, DUMBASS!” I said running to the front door

“You will have to come back” He said smiling

“You will have to catch me” I said smiling and closed the door

I went to District 12 apartment, I knocked the door and Louis’ opened it

“Emma, I heard what happened, oh my god” He said squeezing me, he was alone at the apartment, I guess the rest of them were in the gym, “Why did you volunteered?”

“I had to sweetie, I felt like it” 

“May the odds be ever in your favor” He said smiling
