72nd Annual Hunger Games

Day two, good news, terrible endings.

“Good morning” Alex said smiling, I got up with a terrible pain in my back; floors aren’t that comfortable.

Cecelia and Luke were still asleep, “They sent us food, leave some for the guys” I said scratching my back as stretched.

“I will save the medicine” He said, I finally had some confidence. “Where are you going?” He asked.

“Just walk around, see what I discover” I said shrugging my shoulders.

“Be safe” He said, I was about to walk away when he talked again, “And Emma…” I turned back, “Thanks… you know… for saving my life” He said

“I couldn’t let you die” I said smiling, he smiled weakly back.

I got out of the cave with my trident; of course, I wasn’t capable of killing anybody if they didn’t attack me. I walked towards the cornucopia, still scared of somebody that could kill me; I walked slowly armed towards it and grabbed supplies. I grabbed food and some weapons for the guys like axes, knifes and bows and arrows since I knew each one’s abilities, I also grabbed a spear to replace my trident stick so it would be more stable. I put them all in a backpack and started to run, I heard something cracked, I paralyzed thinking it was my time, I turned around charging. Suddenly something pushed me towards a tree

“Hello stupid” The bitch said forcing a knife at my neck, I kicked her and she fell, I held my trident and I was about to throw it to her with all my forces when somebody grabbed my arms and pulled me back.

“Get off me” I said kicking to its leg. The bitch stood up looking innocent, I heard a laugh, immediately I knew it was Harry, “Asshole” I muttered.

“Hey, language” He said letting me go, “Alliance?” He asked letting out his hand

“With her? In hell” I said gave a quick death glare to her.

“We are in hell Emma” Harry said buffing

“Stop joking, you can get killed easily with those extremely loud laughs” I said punching him

“Come on Harry, we don’t need her help to win” The bitch said

“Alyssa, she has an alliance with other 3 tributes, weapons and probably a camp” Harry said looking at her

“And you are right at everything, although I wont offer my help, you are too stupid to make a fireplace, I can't let you ruin my team” I said smiling

“See, lets go, sponsors will save us” She said and winked at him

“No. Emma, we have been together since day one, you can’t let me die” He said

“You fate is already determined, thanks for the casual encounter” I said and walked away

Alyssa, the bitch, muttered something, “She will die”. I turned back and kicked her in the face, she gasped, “Oh no you didn’t” She said covering her mouth

“Indeed, goodbye, try to die so we can end this faster” I said winking at them, I walked away surprised she didn’t attack, probably Harry told her not to. I entered the camp to see the guys eating, “Good morning” I said putting the backpack on the floor, “I found some weapons” I said, they smiled, I gave Cecilia the bow and the arrow, Luke the knives and Alex the axe.

”So, we are twelve left already?” Alex asked surprised

“Yup” I said pooping my lips

“Tributes, tributes, good news, this year we have made some modifications, the victor or now victors of the 72nd annual Hunger Games can be an alliance maximum of 4 tributes, hope you make good choices” Claudius voice rebounded all the perimeter.

We all looked at each other with hope, we could do this, I know we can. We were cheering and stuff when we heard some mumbles, we all shut up and covered each others mouths, there was a huge shadow of 2 tributes on the other side of the waterfall, both of them armed, I quickly grabbed my trident and we all were in attack positions, while we stood silently. They suddenly entered the cave, the male from 8 and the female of 9.

They stood firmly with knives, “Go away and we will not kill you” I said

“No way, you killed my boyfriend, I’m not going to let you out of this one” She said

I could feel she was extremely angry, “You have two options, we kill two of you and the other two form an alliance with us or we kill you all and accelerate this process” The man said

“Not a chance in hell” I said an threw my trident at the girl, she immediately fell on the floor, the guy from 8 was angrier and crazy, he tried to stab Luke, Cecelia immediately freaked out and kicked him so he could stay away from him, the guy turned to Cecelia, Alex pushed him and he was now on the border of the river, a single step and he could flow with the waters of the waterfall which I don’t think are secure

“Night buddy” Alex said, he grabbed his t-shirt and blew his head off with his axe, he pushed him and the dead corpse was now flowing down the river, I grabbed the girl’s body and pushed it, it was still hard to see how I killed somebody, I felt guilty, we were all talking when suddenly Luke started to make strange movements

“Luke what’s wrong?” I asked concerned, he started to vomit blood

“Luke!” Cecelia said desperate, we suddenly saw the guy stabbed the knife in his stomach and produced Luke an hemorrhage, Cecelia was crying when finally Luke fell on the floor, Alex consoled Cece and I was sitting in the corner of the cave thinking how could this had happened, we were alright, I cried with my eyes closed, you could just hear mine’s and Cecelia’s sob and Alex saying “Shhh, its alright”.
