DIARY
"Tick tock Ciera, time is ticking... I'm still waiting for your decision," the hooded man said laying its back on the couch with a glass of red wine on his right hand. This is the first time Ciera met this guy and trusting him is a bit difficult to do, but Terrence commended him to her so a part of her thinks that he might really help her deal with her problems.
"You know, Ciera, being in a relationship is too complicated. When you give them all your love, chances are they won't give anything back to you," the hooded man took a sip of his wine while grinning and continued, "You decide, just make it quick. My costumers are waiting for me."
"Costumers? But no one else is here except for me, and you of course." Ciera still thinks that his place is so scary, with all the creepy things mounted on the walls and displayed on the tables around them. She just can't forget the glass eye that she saw near the entrance that she thought was real and gave her a mini heart attack. Good thing the hooded man told him that it was just a glass eye or else she could've passed out real bad.
"Well, you see, I am that kind of a businessman who doesn't want to wait for costumers. Instead, I go to their houses and get them what they need," he stood up still holding the glass of wine and looked outside the window beside them, "and instead of taking money in exchange I ask for something else."
"Something else? W-What do you mean?" She can sense that something is off and she's already thinking of leaving anytime now. Not taking money in exchange for anything is a bit strange and creepy at the same time. And this conversation makes her really uncomfortable.
"Oh dear, don't worry, I'm not that kind of a person. I'm not interested in those kinds of things. I'm not like your significant other, making it a habit with all the girls he likes to do it with."
Ciera was dumbfounded and so speechless about what the hooded man said. She's so confused about how he knew about that thing when she totally did not say anything about her personal life.
"What... What are you talking about? W-Wait... did Terre-"
"Playing dumb won't get you nowhere Ciera. You absolutely know what I am talking about," Ciera cannot continue what she was about to say and it made her teary-eyed, "and no, Terrence has nothing to do with me knowing about that stuff."
The hooded man faced her and this time it's not a glass of wine he was holding, it's a black leathered book but the strange thing is there is a skull engraved on the cover page of it and the pages are painted as red as blood.
"This, this is a diary," the hooded man placed it on the table in front of Ciera and she just stared at it thinking what does a diary have to do with all of the problems she has, "but this is not just an ordinary diary, because everything that you'll write on this book will happen the day or hour you want it to happen."
