Chapter 4: A Surprising Visitor

"Now it's time for round two" the anouncer said. Ameill was in the waiting room again waiting for his turn to go on stage and battle. "Next round is between Ameill Gandal and Rand Salfo" The anouncer called out. Ameill was walking out when he remembered who Rand Solo was, Rand was a world famous pokemon ranger. Ameill decided he would go all out against this trainer using all of his hidden combos. Ameill got to the stage and gave a confident smile even though he knew he probably wouldn't win.

"Go Sparky and Kaze" Ameill called out. "Go raichu and beedrill" Rand called out. "Kaze use razor leaf and Sparky use spark on the razor leaf so they will do more damage" Ameill ordered and Kaze used razor leaf that was hit by spark and then split into two damaging both raichu and beedrill. "Beedrill use bug bite and raichu thunder use both on shinx" Rand called out. Beedrill advanced on Sparky and used bug bite which Sparky couldn't dodge, then raichu used thunder which didn't work as Sparky's ability was lightning rod so it made Sparky stronger. "Sparky use thunderbolt beedrill and Kaze use absorb on raichu" Ameill ordered. The thunderbolt hit beedrill causing it to faint but raichu dodged the absorb attack. "Raichu use discharge on budew, use all your energy" Rand ordered. The discharge hit budew causing it to faint. "Sparky use thunderbolt twice on raichu" Ameill ordered. Sparky used thunder bolt on raichu twice and on the second one raichu buckled over and fainted. "There we have it Ameill is moving on to the third round" the commentator called out. Ameill walked back to the waiting room for the the next round.

"Ameill great job out there" Jake told Ameill as he walked into the waiting room. "Yeh I thought I would of lost that match but I won" Ameill said. "Time for match four of round three Ameill Gandal VS Gran Egan" The commentator called out. "Go Ameill you can do it" Jake called out. Ameill walked out and saw he was against a fairly new trainer. "Go infernape and geodude" Gran called out. "Go Sparky and Kaze" Ameill called out. "Quick infernape use flamethrower on budew" Gran ordered. The infernape used flamethrower that one hit Kaze straight away. "Sparky use thunderbolt on infernape as many times as you can" Ameill called out. Sparky used thunderbolt five times on infernape causing him to faint. Sparky was panting heavily and then started to glow, she glowed brighter and brighter and then she stopped glowing and a luxio stood in the shinx's place. "Awesome Sparky you evolved" Ameill called out. "Who cares geodude use stone edge" Gran yelled. The stone edge hit causing Sparky to faint. "Well there we have it Gran is moving onto the next round" the commentator yelled.

Ameill walked of the stage and into the waiting room with a big grin on his face even though he lost. "Ameill congrats on Sparky evolving to bad you lost" Jake said to Ameill. "Yeah I'm just happy that Sparky evolved" Ameill said. "Ameill there is someone that would like to speak to you at the pokemon center" Jake told Ameill. "Okay then I should go to the pokemon center then" Ameill said as he began walking towards the pokemon center.

"Ah Ameill your finally here" a mysterious voice said as Ameill entered the pokemon center. Ameill turned around and saw the sinnoh champion Cynthia sitting on one of the couches in the pokemon center. "C-Cynthia, what are you doing here?" Ameill asked. "Well I was at the Oreburgh city gym and I watched your first battle and decided to come and meet you" Cynthia told Ameill. "Okay well um what did you want to say?" Ameill asked. "Well I just wanted to tell you to challenge gyms and collect badges, when you have all eight gym badges you can come and challenge me and the elite four" Cynthia said. "Okay I will challenge the elite four and you" Ameill said. At that note Cynthia left the Pokémon Center.
