"Ah, bonjour! Welcome to Markiplier Castle."

You sighed as you looked out the back of your carriage, watching your castle get smaller and smaller, until it disappeared into the distance. You turned back to face front, and brushed off your (favorite color) dress. It was slim, but not to tight, with a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves, your satin dress made you feel comfortable yet confident. You sat patiently, looking out the window as the road became unfamiliar. You weren't allowed out of your kingdom often, even though you were 22. Your father, the king of (your home town) was about to enter a war with (your football high school team's rival town), a neighboring kingdom. King (Father/N) had called you down one morning, shortly after your 22nd birthday.

"Y/N! Could you come down here for a moment?" King (F/N) paced in front of his throne, Queen (M/N) sitting on the throne that was to the left of him.

"Darling, relax. She had to expect this sooner or later." The Queen said, trying to ease the King's stress.

"She'll hate me though. We are basically sending her away to possibly become someone else's. And if the prince doesn't pick her, she could come home heartbroken. I don't want to see my little girl heartbroken." He sighed as he stopped pacing and looked at his wife. The Queen stood up and walked over to him,

"That's what happened to me honey. Yes, there we other girls, but you ended up picking me. And if my daughter is anything like me, she'll out shine every other girl staying there. I know it." The Queen said, placing a hand on his cheek and using her thumb to stroke it slowly. The King leaned into her hand,

"And I am so happy I did." The King smiled and took the Queen's other hand and kissed the back of her hand. The Queen blushed and smiled back,

"She is a strong women. I know she'll be alright."

"I'll be alright with that?" You asked, standing at the edge of the grand staircase. The King looked between me and The Queen before clearing his throat and walking towards me,

"Princess... I have some news to tell you." He said taking your hands in his.

"Yes papa?" You looked up at your father, slightly worried. The King looked back at his wife, who urged him on.

"You're going to the kingdom of Los Angeles to possibly become the prince's wife..." He trailed off, avoiding eye contact with you. Your eyes widened,

"Why? Why can't I choose my own husband?" You said softly, not wanting to push the matter. The King looked back at his wife, who approached the two.

"We are approaching war with (rival town), and we are in desperate need of allies. Yes we have a few, but our relationship with L.A. needs to be stronger. You may not be picked to be the prince's wife though, as there will be other princesses from other kingdoms there. But at least trying to win over and fall in love with the prince, will strengthen our relationship, and hopefully L.A. will stand with us in battle." She said softly, placing a hand on The King's shoulder. You looked between them, shocked.

"So let me get this straight. You're sending me to another kingdom, to compete against other girls to make the prince fall in love with me and vise versa. I to get married to this guy that I don't even know just so the kingdom won't get mass murdered IF we go to war with (rival town). So if we don't go to war, I'll have married him for no reason." You said, taking your hands back from your father.

"Pumpkin... It's not just that..." Your father said, "Your also of age, and it's time for you to settle down, and become a ruler." You sighed, as you saw out of the corner of your eyes your little sisters and brothers come down the stairs. Jenna, the youngest daughter ran right in front of you. You picked her up and she hugged you tightly.

"(Y/N) is leaving us?" The 7 year old asked looking at your father with sad eyes.

"Leaving? Why?" Declan, the oldest son asked, coming up behind you and placing a hand on your shoulder.

"Your sister may be getting married." Your mother said, looking at her children.

"Married? Yay a wedding!" Christopher chirped happily. You looked around at my brothers and sisters. Declan, the heir to the throne and only 4 years younger than you. At 18, he was a handsome young man and very smart. He already was helping your father with war tactics, and he was one of - if not the best soldier in the army. Next was Alison, who was 13 years old and the best horseback rider in the kingdom. She could carry her own weight when she needed too, but she would always be there for you as well. Next was Dylan, the rascal of the siblings. The 10 year old could get away with every and anything he wanted to. When he wasn't making a mess around the castle, he would be in the kitchen, watching the chefs prepare the food for the day, and helping them out as much as he could. The youngest daughter, Jenna, was like you in so many ways. The 7 year old LOVED music and when ever the band was here in the castle preparing to play at a ball or an event, she would sneak into where they were practicing and sit with them for hours at a time. You couldn't blame her though, because you did that too. One time Jenna hid behind a tuba while you hid in a closet to hide from your father. Last but not least, there was Christopher and Tyler, the youngest of the family. At 6 years old, the twins live the life any 6 year old would want, making mud pies and eating ice cream every day. Man, how that was the life. How you wished that you could be a kid, or even a teen again, and not have to worried about arranged marriages. You sighed and looked at your father before looking at Christopher,

"Possibly a wedding. Nothing is set yet, but lets hope that there is one... For the good of the kingdom." You said, as you saw Christopher bounce with excitement over to your mother. She picked him up, while your father picked up Tyler. You and your father made eye contact, making a small agreement that she would go, but you two weren't done talking about this...

"Madam, we've arrived." Your carriage driver said, snapping you out of your daydream.

"Wow..." You said in awe, as you looked out the window at the huge castle that stood before you. The driver opened the door for you and you stepped out, and headed up the stairs. You knocked on the door with the lion knocker, and soon a tall young man opened the door,

"Ah, bonjour! Welcome to Markiplier Castle."

Lol this took forever to write cause I just HAD TO make this harder and make you have like 8 million siblings

(Come on Jenna it was 6 not 8 million ya dingus)

...

Yes I named your sister after myself... Deal with it.

Lmao I'm not that mean... I hope.

I just make it a thing to name a character in each book I write (or at least most of them) after me haha. And in this case I made myself a music loving 7 year old. cauSE WHEN I WAS, A YOUNG BOY, MY FATHER, TOOK ME INTO THE CITY, TO SEE A MARCHING BAND. HE SAID "SON WHEN, YOU GROW UP, WOULD YOU BE, THE SAVIOR OF THE BROKEN, THE BEATEN AND THE DAMNED?"

I'm a girl though so that doesn't work... And my father never took me into the city to see marching band... BUT HEY I'M DRUM MAJOR OF A MARCHING BAND SO THAT MEANS SOMETHING???? Lol anyway, expect that reference somewhere in the book... Along with other Emo Quartet references... Yup I'm trash.

And hey i'm gonna do songs of a chapter cause why not?

The song of this chapter: Ode To Sleep by Twenty One Pilots

I don't remember the song I listened to when I started this chapter but I ended it with TOP cause I'm actual trash (as I've said) and I can't stop listening to this song!

Anyway, it's 2 am here, and I hope you all enjoyed Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/what ever you celebrate. I hope to have a new chapter out before the new year! If not, thanks for a great 2017, and onward to 2018!
