After about 3 months in the hospital and many questions from the police, I was released and able to go home. I threw on some normal clothes, grabbed my phone and walked out of the front entrance of the hospital. My car had been driven here by one of the police officers earlier, I took my keys out of my pocket and opened the car door. I flung my purse in the backseat and pushed the button to start the car, I drove out of the lot and started to drive down the road. I was finally heading home. My mind was in a strange place though, for some reason I felt as if someone was watching me, I was in constant paranoia, however, a part of me liked the feeling of being scared.

The adrenaline rush was amazing, I felt like I could do anything.

Once i arrived home I got out of the car and walked up to my door unlocking it, I walked in and was greeted by the scent of vanilla. 'home sweet home'. Closing the door behind me and locking it back, I went into the kitchen and began cleaning out the fridge of molded and rotten food and beverages, after all I had been gone for three months and things needed to be done. Once everything was taken care of I walked back into the livingroom and sat on the couch exhausted. My thoughts were once again carried back to the man that had kidnapped and murdered my friend and almost killed me, I smirked to myself my features turning dark.

Things in this town were about to change, and I would make sure of it.

Soon enough it was dark out, dark enough to go on a little 'walk' without being seen. I grabbed my jacket and walked out of the house making sure to bring a pocket knife with me; after what I had been through I would need to protect myself in case anything else would happen.

The moon shone in the sky as I walked down the street listening to the wind rustling the leaves of the trees that loomed over me, I felt so free. I had been stuck in a hospital for three months with no form of entertainment, they took away the TV after I had my screaming fit; the nurses wouldn't let me leave the room without a police escort. I couldn't even go to the bathroom without a nurse on the other side of the door.

Lost in my thoughts as I walked I hadn't even noticed I was now walking through an open meadow, I stopped directly in the middle and began to laugh whilst twirling in circles like a child.

"This is gonna be fun"
