okay this will not be as short as the last one. I hope you change your mind about some characters, I really hope I touch you with some of the scenes in this chapter. I have become so attached to Elsabeth and Kasper. Who is your favourite character? Answer in the comments, tell me what you think.~Sky K

Elsabeth stood silently, waiting for the boy hidden in the shadows to speak, and Kasper waited for her to speak. Little did he know that speaking wasn't something Elsabeth did.
The little girl as Elsabeth knew her, or Lila, was nowhere to be seen. In fact Lila was still inside the hidden house, fast asleep. Kasper stood silently, not at all trusting the strange silent girl that stood in front of him. But Elsabeth felt quite the opposite to Kasper, she found herself trusting Kasper, and so she quietly whispered.
"I'm Elsabeth...Who might you be?"
Anyone who knew her would have gasped in shock, or congratulated her. As people seem to think there was something wrong with her. 'Maybe she is has an illness, or something' they think, but that is not the case, Elsabeth just found she didn't find need to express her feelings through sounds, like speech or music. But through something else.
But Kasper didn't know about that, all he knew was this strange girl was a threat to his sister, and she had to leave. And never come back.
"You don't need to know" he replied calmly, if she could have seen him, she would have seen his small frown, and furrowed brow. His blonde scruffy hair falling in his eyes.
But in a way not seeing him meant one good thing, she couldn't judge him. Elsabeth judged people a lot, as people judged her. They judged her on her odd silence, and her oversized coat, which she was so proud of.
"why not?" she asks, pushing her dirty blonde hair out of her bright emerald green eyes. She shoved her cold hands into the oversized pockets, of her coat. And in the shadows Kasper had done the same with his huge brown coat. And Elsabeth being the girl she was notice his shadow, which was she could see of him, doing the same thing she did.
Kasper decided to humor the girl 'how much harm can that do?' he thought, but stayed quiet. Waiting to see what she would do, would she try to look at him in the shadows, but Elsabeth did none of those things.
"Well I'm going to think of a name for you myself then, I have a small feeling we are going to see a lot of you" she says in a louder voice, lifting her chin a little. As little as she showed it Elsabeth was quite prideful, and creative.
Kasper let a small laugh fall from his mouth, he had never met such a girl. He grinned in the shadows.
"call me whatever you like, I doubt you will ever see me" Kasper says, her naivety annoying him slightly.
"I'm going to call you Kai" she replies, a intelligent smile on her face.
"Kai?" he asks
"I don't know, It just fits" she replies with a small grin. She found herself liking the strange boy she couldn't even see, but she knew he didn't like her. 'No one ever did.' she thought.
"you have to leave" Kasper called out, but he didn't really mind the company of the girl dressed in the emerald.
Then Lila woke alone in the house, scared something had happened to her elder brother. She carefully wobbled to her feet, and limped without her crutch down the dark hall, and outside. To find herself next to the girl in the emerald coat, who haden't seen her yet.
But the cold suddenly brought something on in Lila, a bout of dizziness fell over Lila, and she tripped and went sprawling into the cold snow.
Elsabeth reacted before Kasper could even think straight, she leaped down throwing herself down beside the small girl, and taking of her jacket, pulling off a jumper. She wrapped it tightly around the girl, trying to hug some warmth into Lila.
