A Sophomore and Junior in love

Chapter 7

James and me kissed for awhile before we pulled apart to breathe. I pulled him toward my bed and laid down with him next to me. Before I knew it was I was asleep in James arms. I love the way I fit into James arms and the way he made me feel. I woke up to find that James was not laying next to me in my bed. I got up out of my bed and went to look for him. I did not find him anywhere in my house. I was about to sit down in the family room when I heard my phone go off and I ran up the stairs to my room for my phone. I picked up my phone and said "Hello".

I hear my best friend Jessica say "Can you come pick me up from the airport because it's too early for me to wake up my parents and have them come get me now that I am back in town. So can you come pick me up from the airport?"

I said "Yeah, I can come get you since I have nothing better to do and I need to tell you something but you might freak out about it."

Jessica said "You can tell me about it when you come get me. Thank you for do this for me."

I grabbed my keys and ran to my car. I got in and drove to the airport to get Jessica and bring her back to my parents house. I looked at the clock in my car and it said it was two in the morning. I got to the airport and waited for Jessica to come out of the airport after texting her that I was outside waiting for her to come out. Jessica came out of the airport and go into the car and said "What do you have to tell me that I might freak out about it."

I said "I'm kinda together with James and we had fallen asleep in my bed but I woke up and he was not next to me. He is always pulling away from me when he gets to close. Plus he knows about the 4 year crush I had on him. I don't know if he does want to be with me or is he just going to keep pulling away from me and then getting close to me. I'm getting confused about it all. I just wish he would make up his mind about everything so I was not so confused as I am right now."

I had to take a deep breath because I barely breathed as I told her everything. I turned to look at her once we reached my parents house and I helped her get get bag out of the car and into my room where she would be staying till she felt like going home. As we walked up to the front door and I turned to look at the Tanner's house and saw that James was looking out the window and he saw me. I hurried up and looked away because I did not want to see him after he left me while I was sleeping. I walked up to my room holding back tears then Jessica saw me and said "Just cry it will make you feel better". 

I was sad because he did not care about me and he did not talk to me since the day Jessica got here. Jessica and me went to the beach later that day after sleeping and talking about James. When we got to the beach. We laid our stuff down and went into the water to cool off before we talked and tan. I was laying down when Jessica said "I'm hungry. Can we get something to eat?"

I got up and grabbed my wallet and went to wait in line to buy food for Jessica and me. I turned and saw James watching me with his friends. I bought food and went back to Jessica. We ate our food and then went back to my house to watch movies and talk more.
