A Sophomore and Junior in love

Chapter 1

My name is Sky Star and I'm 15 year old. I just finish my Sophomore year of high school at Lakeview High school. I spent most of my time reading and doing thing not a normal kids would do during their summer break. But I would spend my time at the beach. I was sitting on my towel and reading a book when I was hit with a volleyball in my back. I turn around to find the Head Quarterback coming over to get the ball back but he got down on he knees and said "I'm sorry. My friends where not paying attention and I missed the ball. I really meant to catch it before it went to far. Can I please make it up to you?"

I looked at him  wondering why is he sorry? Did he asking to make it up to me? I was not paying attention because the next thing I knew is that James Tanner aka head quarterback is sitting next to me in the sand. I looked over at him with a weird look on my face. Thinking what he is doing sitting next to me? Does he not realize what he is doing? Why does he not go back with his friends and play volleyball? I watched him as he sat there looking at the water. I said "Why are you talking to me? Why don't you go play with your friends? I'm not the type of people you talk to. You usually talk to people like them." As I said that I pointed at the cheerleaders laying on towels next to each other. I watched as he looked over at them then back at me and said "Nope, I rather sit here with you Sky. If you don't mind. I like it right here."

He looked at the water and then over at me. He looked away when he saw a shadow coming up behind us. He turned and saw that his friends were behind us. I looked at him then at my phone. I got up as he was talking to his friends and started to put my things in my bag. I grabbed my stuff so I could leave. I still heard them talking as I walked away to go call my mother to come get me from the beach. As I walked of the beach with my phone in my hand. I saw a shadow behind me and I turn around to find James following me. I looked at him as he stop and I said "What are you following me for?"

I turned to walked away so I could talk to my mother. But I heard James say "Can I give you a left home because I'm leaving and I don't want to sit around with people I see every day during the school year."

I looked at him and said "Ahh, Sure you can give me a ride home. But can we stop on the way because I'm hungry."

I watched him as he walked next to me and lead me to his car. I looked at him as he took my bag and put into the back of his jeep then helped me into the front seat of his jeep. He walked around to the other side of the jeep and got in. He drove without saying anything to me the whole way. Once we were into town a I saw my favorite place in the town to eat. I looked at James and said "Can you pull in to Mamma's Cafe please?"

I watched as he pulled in without saying a word to me. He parked his jeep after he parked his jeep I got out and grabbed my bag out of the back of the jeep. I started walked to the door of Mamma's Cafe when I saw that James was on the phone so I just went inside by myself. I went and sat at the counter. I order my food and waited for it. When the waitress brought me my food. I sat and ate my food when I realized James never came inside with me. I turned to see he was still on the phone with someone but I turned back to finish my food. After I finished my food and payed for it. I grabbed my bag and started walking outside. I started walked down the street before James realized I left.
