A Sophomore and Junior in love

Chapter 2

I was half way home when I realized that I felt like someone was following me home. I turn to see James walking fast as if he was trying to catch up to me. I stop and yelled "What are you doing following me home?"

I turned and starting walked again but as I was walking I felt a hand go around my waist. I turn to see James really close to me. I looked down and I saw that his arm was rapped around my waist. I said "What is your problem? Why are you following me home?"

I pulled away and turned around to leave but his voice stopped me when he said "You left and I thought I was giving you a ride home. When I walked inside you were gone. But when I can outside I saw you walking down the road. So I was trying to catch up to you."

I pulled away again and said "Well you were on the phone and I payed for my own food then started walking home. You were busy so I thought I just leave and walk the rest of the way home."

I turned around and started walked down the rode. I knew he was still behind me. I keep walking home and as I come up to me street. I heard James say "You live on the same street as me."

I turned and said "I have lived next door to you for four years and you never know I lived next door to you."

I turned and walked to my house. I could still feel James following me.  I heard him say "I know that you might be mad at me or something but I was wondering if I can make it up to you and take you out on a date?"

I said "Why would you want to go on a date with me? We don't even have anything in common. Why don't you just keep what you have been doing for 4 years now. Leaving me alone."

After I said that I walked up to my door and unlocked then went inside. I was think that I could believe that he never know we lived next door to each other for 4 year. I just could not believe be taking on a date could make up for the 4 years of being a bad neighbor. I went into the kitchen and grabbed something to eat then walked to my bag and picked it up. I went up to my room and pulled my Ipod out of my bag. I put my headset on and listen to my Ipod as I read a book of mine. I was so into the book that I did not realize my parents where home till my mother was standing in my room. My mother sat down on my bed I felt the bed move so I took my headset out of my ears. My mother's name is Maria its spanish for Mary. My mother said "Would you like to tell me why is Mrs. Tanner asking why her son's car is at Mamma's cafe. Because he said to ask you about it. So what happen today?"

I sat up on my bed and said "Well he offered to give me a ride home so I said okay. I told him I was hungry and to stop at Mamma's cafe and he was on the phone so I went in and bought my food. He was still on the phone when I wanted to leave so I started walking and he left his car because he walked with me home then he asked me out on a date to make up for being a bad neighbor. I told him no I did not want to go out on a date with him. Thats it so don't make a fuss out of it. Is dinner done?"

My mother nodded and we walked out of my room together. As we walked down the stairs she ask "Are you ready for your test tomorrow? You get to take your driving test. I'm so happy for you baby girl."

We walked into the kitchen to see my father putting the food on the table in the dinning room. My father's name is Mark. I love my parents ever much not just because I am their only child. My parents were high school sweethearts and are still together. After dinner I went and took a shower so all I had to do was do my hair then get dressed. I fell asleep after I got dressed and laid down in my bed.
