A Sophomore and Junior in love

Chapter 8

Jessica and me ended up falling asleep on the floor in the front room. I woke up to someone knocking on the front door. I got up off the floor and answered the door to see Sophia standing there with a suitcase and bag of toys. I said "Sophia, what are you doing with that suitcase and bag of toys?"

Sophia said "Can I stay here with you? Mom and James are fighting. I dont want to be near them when they are fighting."

I said "Yeah, that's fine with me but I hope you know you will have to go home sometime soon."

Sophia said "I know I do."

I moved out of the doorway to let her into the house. She went straight for the stair knowning her she was heading to my room to put her bags in there. I heard Jessica moving in the front room so I'm guessing when I was talking to Sophia that she woke up. I walked into the front room and saw that Jessica was awake. I said "Are you hungry beccause I'm about to make something to eat really soon."

I walked into the kitchen and over to the fridge. I was looking in the fridge when I heard the door bell ring and i said "Jessica can you get the door please?"

Jessica said "Yeah I will get the door."

I pulled eggs, bacon, biscuits, and ham out of the fridge to make breakfast. I heard someone walk into the kitchen and say "Can I talk to you please?"

I turned around to see James standing in the door way watching me. I said "Sure but can we talk while I make breakfast for Jessica, your sister and I. But if you want some let me know. So I can make enough food for everyone."

I put all the food on the counter to start making breakfast. When I felt hand go around my waist and pulled toward someone's hard chest but yet comfortable. I turned to see James holding me. I said "James What did you need to talk about?"

James turned me around so that I was facing him. James said "I know I have been being mean and mad at you but I just did not know how do deal with a lot of things. I know that I should have not ran out the your house the other day. But I did not know how deal with someone's else feeling beside what I am going through."

I said "What are you going through James?"

James looked at me and lean down toward my face. I felt his lips touch my lips as he kissed me. I felt like i was floating in the clouds. I moved closer toward James as we kissed. I heard someone move into the kitchen with shoes on. I pulled away from James to see Sophia and Jessica standing in the door way. James moved away from me and said "I was also woundering if you were free tomorrow night and if you would like to go out with me tomorrow night?"
