Chapter 2

Avril's POV:

I ran away through the forest as I felt cold wind brushing my milky white skin. I stopped from running and collapsed on the ground clutching my chest trying to catch me some air. "AVRIL!" , I heard my name being called so I looked around and saw no one. I looked up and saw a blurry figure of Jack.

"J-Jack.....can't.....breathe.....uh.." , then I blacked out. The last thing I remembered is that my name is called and a pair of cold arms carrying me to wherever God knows is.

Jack's POV:

I just caught her right on time as she collapsed in my arms breathing heavily , her face getting pale. "N-no! No! No!" , I reacted as I carried her bridal style in my arms and rode my staff along with the wind.

"FROSTIE!!" , I heard my name being called from behind. So I turned around and saw Bunnymund looking up at me in the sky. "What do you want , Kangaroo?" , I said a bit sternly as I glanced at him by my shoulder.

He frowned but continued, "What are you carrying--? I mean who? Who are you carrying?" , he asked as he tilted his furry head to the side to take a look at Avril.

I gulped and cussed a little as I noticed blood trickling down Avril's nose, "Oh God! Avril!" , I gasped as I ignored Bunnymund and flew towards North's place. He'll know what to do. I can't cause anymore worry to Avril's parents!

Bunnymund's POV:

'Huh? Why did he shouted my Avril's name? Wait a minute. 'MY' Avril!? Crap I'm going crazy!' I thought hysterically as I shrug the thought away and tapped my furry foot twice creating a hold out of no where and hopping in transporting myself to my Warren.

Jack's POV:

I still carried Avril in my arms breathing heavily and more blood trickling down her nose. 'Oh crap this is more dangerous looking than before!' , I thought remembering the time when Avril was 8 years old and got yelled at by Bunnymund for breaking his eggs for Easter.

"AVRIL!" , I shouted her name and carried her in my arms carefully. I looked at her paling face and fading color of her eyes. I glared at Bunnymund and released my anger, "WHY'D YOU YELL AT HER, YOU STUPID KANGAROO!?!".

He got shocked and then glared back at me as he replied quite rudely, "What the--!?! "WHY!?" HAH JACK THAT USELESS AND WORTHLESS PATHETIC LITTLE GURL JUST DESTROYED MY EGGS FOR THIS UPCOMING EASTER, MATE!!!".

I growled and was about to reply back but felt a tug on my blue jacket. I looked down on my arms and saw a smiling weakly Avril while shaking her head no. I sighed and brushed a strand of hair away of her face, "Only for you, Av." , I said softly at her.

"What are you muttering at now, Frostie?" , Bunnymund asked sternly his back facing me. I looked at him frowning , "Nothing meaning it's also none of your business , Kangaroo. You wouldn't care about her anyways also..." , I mumbled the last sentence as I flew away with Avril breathing heavily with a very pale face.

I went to North's place and showed her Avril's current condition. He asked why and I explained it all as he sighed frustrated, "Vhy would Vunnymund yell at her? Vell I know hiz veelings for todayz upcoming Easter vut..." , he stopped and looked at Avril sadly as he saw Tooth holding her small fragile right hand and then continued, "...her condition iz very dangerous Jack... I will do whatever I can do to help her...." , he said with a sad smile looking at me. I nodded as understanding and left the room.

I was already at North's place as I flew done on the floor and ran towards North's office and slammed the doors open revealing a surprised Sandman with a sand sign on top of his head: " ? " , and a surprised Tooth who quickly looked at me then to Avril then to me again then to Avril as she gasped and flew over to me, "Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! What happened to dear Brit?!" , she asked hysterically while her tooth babies flew around Avril's pale looking body.
