I run out of the ktichen and into the dinning room, "Hey guys! What's the plan for today?!" I said hastily with a wheat bagel in my mouth.

"Maru, calm don't why don't you?! You're hot and all but damn you're too loud!" Hidan shouted.

I ignored him and sat at the dinner table with my team. Deidara, Itachi, Hidan, Sasori, and Tobi. The others were probably off somewhere on a mission. I sat next to my boyfriend Sasori, giving him a light kiss on the cheek. "Hi Sasori-chan." I smiled.

"Hey kitten. How did you sleep?" He stated.

"Great actually! What's today's assigned missions?" I asked questionably.

Yes. Sasori and I are dating. Ever since I came into the Akatsuki, I've always felt that there was something about him. Sure, he's a puppet but I've unlocked his true feelings. We're in love. I've forgotten everything in my past and just put it behind me, because this is my family now. Plus, everyone was happy for us-well, except HIdan, the perverse dumbass, but he seemed somewhat chilled with it.

Deidara came over and patted me on the head, luckily his hand didn't lick me this time. Yuck, I thought. From the corner of my eye I saw Sasori smirk, I always keep forgetting he can read minds.

"Well Maru, our mission is to capture the one-tailed Jinchuriki. He resides in the Sand Village."

"Sounds easy enough!" I laughed.

"Finish your breakfast and we'll head out, you. sasori and me." Dei-chan stated.

We all finished our food and rode on the back of Deidara's clay bird to the Sand Village. As we approached the village I felt my heart drop intensely, as a reaciton I grabbed my chest.

"Are you okay kitten?" Sasori questioned.

"Yeah, I'm fine...just, I feel funny." Why do I feel this way? I thought to myself.

We landed into the forest which was a bit outside of the village gates. Deidara told me the plan and our mission offically began. I was to act like a traveler who is just stopping by to restock on supplies within the sand village. Meanwhile, Deidara and Sasori will be keeping watch over the village and annuciate a distraction once I have the Kazekage within my grasp. I walked towards the gates in my old clothes that I use to wear to seem harmless and tedious.

"Hey you. Who are you and what is your purpose here?" One of the gaurds questioned.

The sinking feeling hit me again. Have I been here before? Snapping out of it I fake a name and say, "My name is Miki Hishikuma, I am here to restock my supplies for futher traveling." I smiled widely.

The two guards looked me up and down suspiciously, "Very well. You may pass."

I entered the village and my heart beat began to increase widely. My feet felt welcome to the sand beneath my feet, and my mind felt comforted by the gusty wind. I continued onto the Kazekage's building. I leaped into the window, avoiding any guards or people who'll question my motives at the front. My eyes lay on vibrant red shaggy hair. I sneak up behind him with my kunai to his neck, "You're coming with me, Kazekage." I spat.

A deep familiar voice responded, "Oh really?" All of  a sudden I was instantly flipped over up right side up, I gaze at my useless hands which were trapped in...sand? I struggle, however, my hands are locked in this man's trap. I look up into the man's eyes.

Blue.

My eyes began to widen as I felt my pulse quicken and my chakra rapidly increase. "W-what are you?!" I struggled and kicked, "WHY DO I FEEL THIS WAY?!" My heart began to pump faster and faster as if I injected an adrenaline shot into my cold veins.

"Maru." The man said as he looked into my eyes.

My heart stopped for a quick second, "H-how do you know my name?!" I dont like this feeling, I begin to think, "LEAVE ME ALONE, LET ME GO, I WANT OUT! NOW! NOW! NOW!" I scream to the top of my lungs. What is wrong with me? Why am I acting so absurd? I thought.

The man with silky red hair repeats my name another time. Wait, I know those eyes....I know that hair....that face... I begin to feel something odd, a enlightenment of some sort wihtin my heart. It was causing me to smile. "I knwo you're the Kazekage but just Who are you." I spit out.

The Kazekage came close to my nose, he still had his sand restraining my gripped hands. "It's me Maru, It's Gaara." He began to smile.

I reluctantly repel his charm, "I know no Gaara." I spit out the words like venom.

His blue eyes begin to look hurt and weary. He goes to his other windowsill and picks a flower from his flower pot. "This is one of your favorite flowers isn't it? The Orchid?" He put the flower in my long auburn hair. "You're hair got longer, my love." Gaara strokes his hand throughout my hair and sighs a somewhat blissful sigh.

I'm silent. Stunned. Mesmorized.  Startled, memories began to rapidly flash through my mind.

"Gaara?" I shuffled into his room with a blanket. "Are you awake? Please say yes."

He shifted his position, "Yes, Maru? I'm awake."

I start to fidget with my button up shirt, "Can i sleep with you for tonight? I had a bad dream..." I hid my embarrassed face from his sight, I'm practically an adult, I shouldn't be having nightmares! This is probably awkward, I mean, we just kind of met and I'm only here because I said I wanted to live in the Sand Village-but Unfortunately they didn't have any open homes at the moment, so I'm stuck here. Plus, I'm a rogue ninja! I'm not really wanting to live here, ugh! but I'll have to tell him the truth eventually. Man, I'm so stupid. I sighed.

"Sure, come on in." Gaara welcomed me into his bed and wrapped his firm arms around me. I layed my head onto his chest. I could hear his heartbeat. I began to drift into sleep, knowing he was there comforted me. He kissed me on the forehead, "Don't worry Maru, I'm here for you."

I looked straight towards him, opening my mouth slowly with tears streaming down my blue eyes,

"Gaara?

All of a sudden, the roof of the building blew off destrucitvely, causing chunks of the building to fall onto the sand of the village, as citizens began to scream, Deidara and Sasori hovered over us just above our heads.
