Winter purred softly, bristling her shiny snow covered coat to Moon's dark gray one. Moon's blue eyes were warmer than the cold snow falling on their heads. "Are you okay Winter? We still have a few rabbit lengths to go." His voice trying to sound hopeful. Winter knew that she should just say that she was OK for her brother's sake, but Winter couldn't help feeling sorry for herself. All her life she has been moving from place to place with her brother Moon. No where was safe for a couple of beat-up, scrawny, street cats."Yeah, I'm fine." Moon looked closely, observing Winter's poker face. Finally, he gave up. He stopped and stared at Winter for a moment before speaking again. "You are a queen Winter, and you will live like one, count on me." Winter couldn't help but getting flustered until she heard the yowls of a bunch of loud creature's. "Don't Winter, don't." Winter fed into her curiosity, as she followed the sound which lead to a grassy, snow covered forest.
Moon followed her, but he was too late. His eyes widened like the size of well.. moon's. He looked over to Winter who also realized one thing: These cat's were at war.
