5. Family Game Night

You wake up in the morning still smiling from last night. Tyler is the most thoughtful person in your life for surprising you with your families meeting finally. You start looking around the room and realize that all the dogs are not in their normal spots in Tyler's room. (Y/D/N) and Gerry are usually the ones on the bed with you both while Marshall and Cash lay just next to you on the floor. A smirk spreads across your face as you feel Tyler shift in bed next to you and pull you in closer.

"Sweetheart, where are the pups?" you whisper as he starts to wakes up.

"mmm, I took them out earlier this morning while you were still asleep. Our moms were out back so they told me to just leave them outside and go back to bed. No arguing with moms." he chuckled.

You started to snuggle back into his chest as he kissed the top of your head. "It's kind of nice to at least have a little moment with you. Without the pups."

"They wanted time with your grandmoms." Tyler laughed louder than you expected at his own joke and you jumped a bit which only made him laugh louder.

Tyler has the best, most infectious laugh you ever heard. You cannot help but laugh along with him. It doesn't help that the two of you laugh at almost everything. You two can't even look at each other without laughing more. The two of you have been laughing so hard you didn't even realize Candace had walked in.

Tyler looks up and sees her first, "Why the hell are you filming us??" he says still laughing.

You turn your head into her chest laughing more. "Because you two are ridiculous. I thought you were watching something funny but you were just staring at each other." You smile at her as your laughing starts to chill out.

"Trust me Candace, I don't understand why we both laugh too easily." You chuckle while you start to move around to finally get out of bed.

Tyler looks at you, "Wait, no. Babe, stay in bed!" he starts to complain like a little kid.

"No sweets, it's time to go join the real world. Plus, you have to get ready for practice soon." You remind him. His eyes got slightly wide when he realized you were right and checked the clock really quickly. "Jesus, (Y/N)! You got me thinking I had to leave now. I've got 4 more hours." Laughing you both get yourselves together and head downstairs to the kitchen.

"Gooooood morning, Mama!" you say as you round the corner. Your mom turns and smiles at you both. "Morning mom" Tyler says with a smile and Jackie gives you both a smile as well. They are both making an amazing breakfast for the house. "You two stay out of the kitchen. We're treating you to breakfast before Tyler has to leave for the rink." Your mom says as Jackie continues making pancakes and breakfast potatoes while your mom tends to the eggs and bacon.

"Dont have to tell me twice!" Tyler said while running outside to the dogs where your brother and the dads were.

"Well then, bye Ty" you say and everyone starts laughing, Your sister and his sisters are in the living room talking about school and work.

Nothing could make you happier right now. Having the two families together. Fitting so perfectly.

How this has happened so flawlessly is incredible. Everyone actually enjoys each others company. This is just another reason why you and Tyler already know that you both are in this for the long run.

(Y/D/N) runs up to you when she notices you are downstairs. "Hey baby girl! Having fun with your brothers?" you say while giving her a bely rub.

Jackie walks over and starts petting her with you, "(Y/N), I'm so happy you've come in to his life. As a mother, I really don't think I could even imagine anyone better for him."
