Christopher's POV<3 <- Pete wrote that

The fall air was crisp and cool as I walked towards the school, taking my regular route to dodge the paparazzi. A gust of wind goes by as someone drapes their arm around my neck, pulling me towards them, my head resting on their chest. I look up and squeal, as I hear laughter.
"You should've seen your face!" my best friend, Pete says, wiping away a stray tear, What a dick, but this is who I choose to hang out with.
I laughed half-heartedly, Pete scared the living daylights out of me, I thought I was gonna get frickin robbed.
"You jerk!" I screamed as I pushed his arm off of me, but Pete, being about 3 heads taller than me and way more stronger than me, held his place, his arm wrapped tighter around me as his other hand messed with my hair. A bell rang angrily in the distant, Pete gave a look and smirk as he ran off " You're going to make us late!" I sprinted after him, gaining momentum by pushing off of his shoulders.
"Last one to the door is a rotten egg!" I yelled. He ran and pushed me down and I rolled into a pile of leaves.
"You butthead!" I screamed. He started laughing uncontrollably and crying.
"I'm sorry" he mutters as he helps me.
"We're both rotten eggs." I say.
"Come on, you nerd!" We walk to Social Sciences and when we get there we walk to the back of the room and take our seats. Twenty-five minutes into Mr. Brown's lecture Pete leans over and whispers into my ear "There are 20 letters in the alphabet right?"
"No. There are 26." I respond.
"Oh, I forgot U R A Q T." He responds.
I blush and say "That's 25..." he looks at me and says "You'll get the D later." I start blushing uncontrollably and start muttering gibberish. He looks at me and winks. I blush more than needed. "You look like a tomato." Pete whispers in my ear seductively. I bite my lip and smile. He drives me crazy.
The rest of my classes either went with me praying not to get called on but getting called on anyway, Pete whispering nothing but pick up lines in my ear, or the last, me not getting called on by me reading, drawing and it looking like I was writing, taking an agonizingly slow time on doing notes or a combination of all three. After school I walk into room 637, an abandoned roomy computer lab that a group of friends and I use for experiments. The group consists of me, Pete, a girl name Serenity, Nicole, and Jane. At the moment we're trying to make a portal to other dimensions. , We know they're out there, we just have to find them.
Serenity is the first to greet me judging that I'm usually the last one in -since school is a jerk-and put my locker at the very end of the hallway, where the computer lab is in the first hallway and in the front of the school. Pete jumps on my shoulders, as if he hasn't messed with me enough today. Oh well, I guess beggars can't be choosers. Nicole gives me a very serious head nod, at least she noticed me today (for the last two meetings she pretended that I was invisible because Serenity dared her to). Jane gives me a hug and tells me she was glad I actually made it. Greetings aside, we continue to work on our portal.
"Check the wires one more time, Peter." Nicole says, typing furiously on one of the many desktops in the room. Jane sits in a spinny chair, in her own little world. Serenity hooks different wires together, moving her wavy blond hair out of her face. I feel my face heat up as I stop paying attention to my sketchbook and start paying attention to her. I notice Pete's look from the corner of my eye. Discreetly I watch his sapphire blue orbs, filled with annoyance as he messes with his cocoa brown hair. Pete walks up to me-a more serious glint in his eyes- as I turn around and go back to my sketchbook. Pete grabs the hair covering my neck and places it gently on my shoulder, placing his cold hand against my neck, causing chills to go down my spine. I place my hand against the cold spot on my neck, facing Pete and giving him a glare.
"Focus on your own work, Christopher." Pete spits my name out, with a twinge of venom lacing every syllable. I continue drawing after Pete goes back to what he was doing before. I scoot out of my chair, and cautiously I make my way to the angsty teen. I place my hand on his shoulder
" Pete... what's wrong? Is it that time of the month?" I ask, trying to bring a smile to the brunette's face. Pete turns away from the complex code on his screen and makes a tch sound. Out of habit, I step back. I've made him angry. Pete stands over me, unaware of his height.
"Ha. Real funny," he says, and smirks. I'm plenty used to him smirking, but there's none of that usual playfulness in his eyes. "'Cause everything's a joke, right?" His fingers twitch, and I flinch. He pauses, and a sort of horrified realization passes over his face.
"Aw, Chris, I'm sorry. I didn't mean-" he extends his hands towards me in a gesture of help.
"It's fine." I quickly dismiss his apology.
