A/n: There's only one last chapter after this, then it's the end of the book :(

But please go check out my other book 'Stranded'. I'm starting to frequently update it now and I'm proud of what I've written so far :)

Also I'm sorry for taking longer than usual to publish this.

Tyler's Pov:

I sighed plonking my body down on my bed. School had been stressful today. All the buzz about our report cards had been making me want to throw up, my stomach was a sickening swirling mess of anxiety pulling me away from reality.

My phone beeped in my jean pocket so I pulled it out seeing the messages sent.

3 messages from IshipBrendonsForehead group chat:

I smiled remembering when this chat was made, it was ages ago since we'd last used it.

Pete: anyone remember this chat.

Ryan: omg it's been so long

Brendon: Ah the memories.

Tyler: I had completely forgotten about it.

Patrick: Same

Alex: Has anyone else received their report card yet?

Tyler: Dont remind me about it.

Pete: I have

Jack: I have mine too.

Ryan: Did you both do well?

Jack: eh

Pete: nope.

Patrick: oh

Brendon: ...

Josh: hi guys

Alex: hi

Jack: hey

Brendon: Tyler, look the devil's child has arrived.

Tyler: Shut up fiftyhead

Josh: baby, that's not a very nice thing to say

Ryan: Better fix up your behavior, Tyler.

Pete: Daddy's gonna punish you.

Josh: ;)

Tyler: *sigh* I'm leaving now.

Switching off my phone, I ignored the continuous beeping and connected it to my charger. My friends talking about the report cards just stressed me out even more.

"Tyler!" I heard my father yell from the kitchen.

Sighing, I stood up and made my way into the kitchen where both my parents were. My eyes immediately caught sight of the white sheet in my father's firm hands which caused my stomach to flip.

"W-why'd you ca-call me here?" I stuttered, my nerves tugging at the tip of my tongue as I fiddled around with my fingers.

I knew exactly why my parents wanted to talk to me but I didn't say. A small part of me was hoping that it was not going to be what I thought it was, but I highly doubted it.

"You did very well in your report, Tyler," My dad smiled. An immediate gush of relief engulfed my body as I sighed in content. Maybe they just called me here to congratulate me.
