Dear Fatima,
First off I have some bad news for you. We won't be sending letters after this, I'm sorry. We are expected to focus on the task at hand fully from now on. We are approaching our goal I've been told. So even if you write it wouldn't get to me. I'll write you or most probably call you in September as I pack my stuff and get read to see you again.
It could really be attainable... A better Nigeria... if not for me, for your freedom. I'd like to rest knowing these people would never get to you.
I pictured our dreams for days and it gave me sleepless nights. I imagined Boko Haram evading our farm and destroying lives. I just couldn't bare the gruesome image in my head.
October is four months away. I bet we could endure till then... There's just so much I haven't said and there's so little time, Promise me you'll let me know all that will happen when I come back. Our love will die when the Moon drowns and the tides stops.Yours Forever,
Umar
