Soft panting escaped the lips of Yuri as she clutched her newly born twins in her arms.

"I love you," She whispered to them, holding them even closer to her chest. She could feel it; her body was dying.

The loud stomping of running feet caused her to glance to the front of the cave, the familiar face of Shiro staring wide eyed at her with a look of concern.

Yuri didn't need to say anything. She merely smiled sadly, an act she hoped would make him less concerned as she murmured, "Is Satan..."

"He's wreaking havoc right now. Yuri, what are you--"

"You have to take me to him," She interrupted. Though her body was weak she managed to force herself to sit up and struggled to keep the look of pain off of her face. "I need to stop him..."

"You need to rest!" Shiro protested, approaching her quickly and kneeling beside her.

"No, if I don't stop him the hero will--"

Yuri broke off into a cough, shaking her head as she tried to pull herself to her feet.

"I won't let him continue with this. Satan isn't evil, I know it and I'll show you all," she said.

"My lady?" A voice called out, earning the attention of both Yuri and Shiro.

It was a demon peaking in with a worried expression.

"Ah, Alciel?" Yuri responded, recognizing the demon as Satan's right hand servant.

Alciel twisted his hands as he hesitantly glanced behind himself before looking back at her, "My lady, Emilia the hero has reached the main army. I was instructed to escort you to the castle."

"You will not take Yuri anywhere!" Shiro shouted, standing instantly.

"Who are you to stop me human priest!" Alciel shot back, clear irritation in his eyes.

"Please, no fighting!" Yuri interjected.

Alciel immediately looked to her and muttered an apology.

"Take me to him," Yuri ordered, and this earned a shocked expression from the demon.

"B-but the Lord--"

"You know as well as I that  what I'm saying is going against his wishes. But I need to be by his side."

"...Very well."

"I will not have you leave!" Shiro shouted, this time looking at Yuri with utter desperation, "You just had twins and if you go you will die! I can't let that happen to you!"

Yuri glanced down at the boy's in her arms, sleeping so peacefully. One who looked just like her and clung to her with a tiny fist. The other, looked just like Satan with blue flames that covered his body, flames that would not hurt her.

"I Know you'll take care of them if anything happens to me," she said, tearing her eyes away from them.

Shiro opened his mouth again to protest but Yuri pulled herself to her feet and gently placed the babies in his arms before he could get out another word.

"Keep them safe until I return," she said, giving him one last smile. She then turned to Alciel and approached him.

Alciel took her hand and placed an arm around her waist before taking to the sky with her.

Flying above the madness below Yuri couldn't keep the look of sadness off her face as the blue flames that she knew and loved devoured people whole. The terrified expressions of people and the blood made her tear her eyes away to stare forward.

It wasn't long before she spotted Satan in battle. His blue flames fighting fiercely against the sword of Emilia the hero.

"Die you wretched demon!" She roared, sending a blast straight at him.

The flames seemed to brace themselves for contact, and once they connected caused a blast of energy to spread as the hero used it to cover her as she flew directly into the mess.

"Stop it! Stop fighting!" Yuri yelled, nearly pulling herself away from Alciel's grasp to prevent them from continuing.

As the blast settled, a wave of relief washed over Yuri as Emilia the hero was pushed back and the blue flames was still holding up.

The hero launched herself again but this time the flames swarmed her all at once.

Yuri watched as Satan turned to face her, blood pouring out from the eyes of the human he used as a host.

"Yuri," he breathed, reaching out a hand. A warbled smile crossed his lips before a sharp shrink noise interrupted the moment.

"My Lord!" "Satan!"

Satan gritted his teeth and pointed his hand as blue flames erupted from his palm and sent the hero crashing into a building.

With little effort he ripped the sword out from his body and tossed it aside.

"It seems this is it...this is the best I can do," he said to himself, a hand touching the wound in the host's stomach. Pieces of flesh crumbled at the slight touch and he turned his attention back to Yuri and Alciel.

He flew over to them and said, "It's time to go. Yuri, we must head home."

"Yes, I know," Yuri whispered, unable to stop the tears from falling down her cheeks.

All of it, the fighting, the death, the chaos; all because of her. This fact made it impossible for her to keep her face from showing a mixture of love sadness.

Satan held out a hand and brought it to Yuri's cheek, "I won't let anyone hurt you ever," he said softly.

"I know," she responded with a smile.

"Where are our children?"

"They're waiting for us with Shiro."

Satan took Yuri from Alciel's grasp and held her in his arms. He smiled as she nestled against him and looked to Alciel to lead the way.

"I won't let you get away!" The hero shouted, finally pulling herself from the rubble and holding her injured arm.

The demons took no notice of her as they fled the scene.
