Shiro didn't know what to think as he sat with the son of Satan in his arms. He was a priest, a man whose sole purpose was to kill and eliminate demons and yet...here he was alone with two demon spawns.

He sighed, cradling the more human like one in his arms. The tiny boy breathed softly, occasionally shaking his tiny fists in his sleep. It was hard to imagine that he was part demon. The other one however, was easily distinguishable. Blue flames surrounded the small boy and the power coming from him was easily felt even from a distance.

Shiro wondered what would happen if he were to kill the twins right then and there. Surely that was what was expected of him. Despite this, he couldn't bring himself to do it. After all, Yuri trusted him. She purposefully left them in his care.

Shiro instinctively stiffened at the sound of a soft cry. It was small and barely a warble, and was coming from the baby in blue flames. He could only stare at the boy, the tiny fists waving in the air and the mouth opening and closing as it tried to find milk. It was oddly adorable and Shiro found himself unable to keep the smile from his lips.

The smile didn't last very long. As he pulled himself to his feet he was relieved to see Yuri though not so happy to see the one accompanying her.

"Satan," he muttered, tensing.

Satan released Yuri and turned his gaze to the baby in Shiro's arms.

An expression Shiro thought no demon could ever make crossed Satan's face as the demon hesitantly stepped forward, "my child..." He breathed, barely able to keep his hands from shaking as he reached out to touch the baby.

Shiro instinctively stepped back and held the baby tightly to his chest.

Satan paused and eyed him curiously. Neither said a word as they stared at each other.

"Yukio," Yuri said, "That's his name. Rin is the other one."

"Yukio, and Rin..." Satan repeated, his eyes flickering to the still crying baby on the floor.

He approachedthe one named Rin and scooped up the baby.

"He...looks like me, doesn't he?" He murmured, glancing from the baby to Yuri. Pure excitement was written on his face and he laughed lightly as he slipped a finger into the baby's palm and wiggled the tiny hand.

"My Lord! The hero is here!" Alciel shouted, shattering the moment of happiness.

Satan glanced up and frowned, "Stall her!" he yelled, immediately turning around, "It's time we depart."

"Don't you dare run away from me!" Emilia the hero roared, breaking past Alciel and rushing towards Satan.

Satan's flames grew larger and acted as a barriar which kept her at bay.

"Damn you! Die already!" The hero yelled, struggling to slice through. As her sword got wrapped in the flames and pulled out of her grasp, her eyes flickered to the baby in Shiro's arms before her eyes went wide, "A child?"

Taking the opportunity, Satan reached through the flames and grabbed her roughly by the throat pure anger written on his face.

"I grow tired of your intereferance. You die," he growled, tightening his grip around her neck.

"No Satan! Don't kill her!" Yuri shouted.

The baby Yukio began to cry, his tiny fists waving in the air again. It was enough to snap Satan out of his anger and caused him to glance at the child.

Rin was also crying; the baby clinging onto Satan and their cries grew louder with each passing second.

"Hey, don't cry," Satan said, dropping the hero and instantly trying to calm the crying baby in his arms. Rin quieted for a moment and Satan smiled, "Daddy's here so don't worry."

Boom!

The area shook and Yuri let out a shriek as she desperately attemted to reach her children.

"Don't overexert yourself!" Alciel responded, helping her to her feet.

Boom!

Everything shook again and Satan began muttering under his breath. Pointing at the floor he held his palm open as a dark blue portal opened from the ground. "Let's go!"

"Ah, yes!" Alciel responded, helping Yuri forward.

"Yukio," Yuri said, reaching out to her child still in Shiro's arms.

It pained Shiro to watch her, knowing she was about to be entering Gehenna with her newly borns. But he also knew she couldn't stay. There was no doubt she would be killed if she stayed and there was no choice.

Shiro stepped forward and held out Yukio for her to take saying a soft, "This is goodbye."

"No, this is a see you later," Yuri responded, her hands wrapping around Yukio's body.

"Watch out!" Alciel roared, suddenly pushing Yuri hard.

Yuri hit the floor as a sword was flung directly where she had been standing.

"Alciel!" She exclaimed, reaching a hand for him.

"Kill them all!" A shout was heard and hundreds of people swarmed in.

"N-no!" Yuri yelled as she struggled to sit up.

Emilia the hero sludged close to her, obviously exhausted. She reached down and grabbed hold of the baby and attempted to rip him away from Yuri.

"You can't have my baby!" Yuri cried, struggling with all her might. With her already frail body there wasn't much resistance and Yukio was pulled from her. "Give him back! Please! My Baby! Shiro!"

Shiro was preoccupied with dealing with a force that attacked him and could only glance at the scene in front of him whilst unable to help.

Alciel quickly ripped out the sword that had lodged itself into his waist and tried to go after the hero but was stopped by the sight of Satan.

Satan's body had deteriorated, leaving behind a body that was barely considered a body. The only sign of his presence was the faint outline of flames around the corpse. Baby Rin was nowhere in sight and Alciel knew that Satan had managed to slip him into Gehenna.

"Forgive me," Alciel muttered, running to Yuri.

"My baby! Alciel, my baby! Please! Get him back to me!" She shouted, her eyes wild and desperate.

"We must go before it's too late!" He responded, grabbing hold of her and dragging her to the portal.

"No! I need him! Please! Don't take my baby!" Yuri screamed, clawing towards where the hero sat lying against the wall with Yukio.

There was another loud Boom!

Yuri kept screaming out for Yukio to no avail. When she was pulled into the portal, her cries became little more than muffled tears before her voice vanished altogether.
