Despite the small clicking of the handheld console, Lucifer refused to spare a glance at Amaimon, his own eyes glued to the manga in his hands.

"C'mon, hurry and help me. I'm dying," Amaimon whined. The small candy dangled from his lips and at his defeat snapped from its stick as he stood up and tossed the console against the floor in rage.

"Hey! That's precious!" Lucifer snapped, forcing himself to glare at Amaimon. "It's worth more than your entire life."

"Hmph, it's a stupid game," Amaimon grumbled, crossing his arms.

"You can't get mad at the game because you're too stupid to play properly."

"huhn? You calling me stupid?"

"Yeah i'm calling you stupid."

"At least i'm not as short as an imp."

Hey! At least my hair isn't shaped like a pineapple!"

Both Amaimon and Lucifer stood in front of each other and glared, their electric waves crashing into one another as the fury being released threatened to spill into an all out fist-fight. They were stopped only  by the sound of the door slamming open and Rin stepping inside with a grin.

"You know I love you both very much," Rin said. He smiled wider and stepped close to the pair, both looking to each other suspiciously before looking back at Rin.

Rin paused and slung an arm around both of their shoulders to pull them closer to his body. "Since I love you both very much, I'm sure neither of you mind if I ask for a favor?"

"Is it about the portal?" Amaimon asked.

Rin smiled wider.

"Your mom said I'm not allowed to help you," Amaimon replied.

Lucifer groaned and squirmed out of Rin's grasp.

"Why do you want to go to the human world for? It's icky and gross there, and you can't use your powers easily. Plus Satan forbid anyone from going there. It's pointless."

Lucifer crossed his arms and tried to leave but Rin grabbed him again and brought him back to his side.

"I talked it over with the old man and he said it was fine. As long as I don't stay gone for too long, yada yada. You know how it is."

Lucifer gave him a skeptical look, his brow raised slightly. "Is that so? Then who has he ordered to accompany you?"

Rin was quick to respond.

"Obviously both of you. You've been to the human world loads of times Lucie, and Amaimon knows how to get there. It's the perfect combination!"

"That's not how escorts work, dummy," Lucifer replied. "We're demon kings, and there's no way Satan would have ordered for us to accompany you. He would probably have  ordered Alciel  to be your escort since he's a General and a stickler for the rules. You're a very bad liar Rin."

Rin rolled his eyes. "So what if I lied, it's just for a few hours! You act as though I'm a child. I want to go, so i'm going! And you're both coming with me!"

"hn...It sounds boring. I don't wanna go," Amaimon replied.

"Pleeeeease?" Rin whined. "I promise I'll make it up to you! Whatever you want i'll do!"

Rin shook Amaimon's shoulder, his eyes already on the brink of tears. It was a skill Satan had bestowed upon him, and an expression that only the strongest of wills could refuse.

Amaimon grumbled under his breath, and the reluctant, "Fine, I'll do it," followed after.

"Yass! Thank you darling!"

Rin  instantly kissed Amaimon's cheek before shaking Lucifer vigorously.

"It'll be so much fun I promise!" Rin beamed.

"Yay, fun," Lucifer replied, though his voice remained monotoned and void of any emotion.

"But we can't stay long," Amaimon said. "Because Satan ordered no one to leave to the human world. We'll be in trouble if he finds out."

"Don't worry about it, I promise I won't keep us there that long. There's just so much to see, and so much to do! Lucie, you have to show me to the best places!"

Rin's eyes sparkled and his excitement was enough to make Lucifer sigh heavily. "Yeah Yeah. I'll do that."

The wide grin remained plastered on his face as Rin quickly grabbed Lucifer and Amaimon's hands and dragged them out of the room and through the castle.

He pulled them to the area in the castle that was covered in runes. He let go of their hands and eyed Amaimon. "Go on, do this and that!"

Amaimon scratched his head, "Are you sure you wanna go to Assiah? You know we don't have to go right now."

"Don't stall! Please, open the portal before we get caught!"

Amaimon sighed and extended his hands. A sharp glow erupted from his fingertips  and he closed his eyes as he muttered under his breath. The glow extended from his hand to the ground and engulfed the room with a dash of dark blue flames. The flames licked the room as the ground shifted and changed to lushes grass.

Rin gasped and stared in amazement. "Amaimon, you're so cool!" He gushed.

Amaimon grunted and opened one eye. "Hurry up and go through now, I can't hold it for long."

Instantly, Rin snapped out of it and grinned. "I'll see ya on the other side!"

He effortlessly jumped through and Lucifer quickly yelled after him.

"Don't just drop through you idiot!"

He huffed and glanced to Amaimon. "You know we are in big trouble right?"

"Mhn. But it's Rin's fault."

As he spoke, the portal suddenly shrank smaller and Lucifer clicked his tongue. "I'll see you on the other side," he said simply.

Unlike Rin, Lucifer descended slowly into the portal, his body slipping through and disappearing below.

Amaimon could feel the power slipping from him. Even for a demon king, opening a portal for longer than thirty seconds was a hard task. The guards were no doubt already on their way, and he had to time it just right in order to get through the portal in one piece.

Finally, he let go and scrambled to jump through before the portal disappeared completely. He managed to make it just in time, to land on something quite squishy on the other side.
