We got to school and so I gripped mummy's hand tighter and tighter digging my nails in,
"Riley, stop it you're hurting me now," mummy said showing me the marks I had left in her palm.
"I'm sorry," I whispered and turned my head thinking that shed surely return me to the adoption centre now.
"Honey, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't of snapped," she said and pulled me in for another hug while we waited for the head to arrive.
