Amelia's POV
It is the first day of school and I am already running late. Rushing towards my first class, someone bumps into me. All the books that I carried are scattered on the ground. I was fuming mad. "Don't you have eyes? Watch where you are going," I warned the person while bending down to pick up my books. The person helped me and I realised that I have not seen him before. New guy maybe. "Sorry. I was just trying to find my class. I'm new here. So I don't really know the way around. By the way, I'm Nick,"the guy or more specifically Nick said. I noticed that his eyes were blue like the ocean and had blonde hair and fair skin. Then it hit me. It was the guy who just moved in beside my house!
Flashback:
"Amelia, send this cake to the new neighbor next door," Mum said. I groaned and ended the skype call with my best guy friend who is a year older than me. I trudged down the steps, hesitating at first but I have to do it. I knocked on the door twice only to find a good-looking boy standing right in front of me. I quickly give that cake and said " Welcome to this neighborhood." He smiled and I returned his warm smile, realising that my heart was beating very fast. I waved him goodbye and went back home. I closed my door and smiled to myself. I can't let the warm smile he showed me.
"Erm.. Hello??" A hand waved in front of me. I was immediately brought back to reality. My face turned into a deep shade of red. "Oh sorry. Can I see your timetable so I can help?" I asked. He passed me the timetable and I compared it to mine. "Well it seems like we have all the lessons together so I will show you around. Hurry we only 5 minutes before the first class starts," I dragged him towards the first class, History. Well this is going to be one hell of a day...
As soon as the bell rang, I rushed towards the main gate and waited for Lauren to come out. We were walking home when I heard someone called my name. I turned and saw Nick chasing after me. " Just continue walking," I said to Lauren. We walked at a very fast speed and slammed the door of my house. We were breathless but Lauren mangaed to spit out, " Care to explain what was that??" I knew I was in deep trouble then.
