Reaper's Pov

I've admired Y/n from afar, I never had the guts to go up to her. But I've been ignoring her lately, ever since I found out she had a boyfriend and a daughter. I didn't want to ruin her happiness so I stopped admiring her. One day, I heard Soldier 76 talking about someone joining over watch. To say I was surprised and kinda excited, i don't know why but I knew I had to ignore this new teammate. It was getting late so I wanted to try to get rest, I haven't been able to rest in years so I just decide to stay up.

Y/n's Pov

It's been hard for me ever since I left b/n. He would abuse me everyday and make me do things that I regret. I've decided to join Over watch since I'm pretty strong thanks to my dad. My dad would teach me combat and how to make my own weapons. I was blessed with a power that I have learned to love. But I also hate ever since that day. I was also blessed with good looks. I had beautiful c/h with bright e/c. I have an hour glass body that would make any boy fall for me. I finally realized I made it. I went inside and was greeted by Soldier 76.

"Good morning Y/n" Soldier 76 said,

"Good morning Soldier 76" I said not trying to get overly excited.

"I'll be assigning you a mentor, he'll help you with everything" Soldier 76 said walking towards another room

"Um, Yes sir." I said quickly following him around

"Alright, meet your mentor, Reaper" Soldier 76 said stepping out of the way to reveal a man

"Hello" I said facing my mentor

Reaper's Pov

She was so gorgeous up close. I couldn't help but stare into her beautiful e/c eyes.

"Hello?" Y/n said waving her hands in front of my face.

Clearing my throat I began walking away, embarrassed that I had been caught. Y/n had quickly caught up to me.

"So you're my mentor?" She said looking at me. I simply nodded not wanting to make a fool of myself.

"Do you even want to be my mentor? I mean look at me, I'm ugly, i'm weak, and I'm nobody likes me" she said on the verge of crying, hearing her say this made my heart ache. I turned around and faced her.

"You are far from ugly and if nobody liked you then they wouldn't be here. You're not weak either, you are a strong and independent women." I said rubbing her cheek with my thumb.

"Thank you for that" Y/n said giving me a small smile which I quickly replied with a 'no problem'

After everything that happened, Y/n went to her room, leaving me alone once again.
