Chapter 10

Gloria's POV

I got dressed, took my guitar, grabbed my shoes and backpack and went downstairs. I heard some noise coming from one of the rooms downstairs. I followed the sound and it led me to the living room. jake was playing Xbox.

"Fuck you mason. kill him not me. come on" jake yelled. I put my guitar by the wall, put my backpack on the floor next to the guitar and sat next to jake on the couch and started wearing my chuck Taylor's.

"Mason cover me fuck fuck fuck" jake yelled

"Dude go right then shoot the dudes" I said

"What are you insane I could get killed its an open field there" jake said

"But you'll get a clearer shot jake trust me" I said

"No. you're a girl you don't know shit" jake said

"Jake the grenade take it and throw it back" I said

"I'm not going to kill myself. mason shoot him come on" jake yelled. at this point I got pissed I took jake's controller and started playing

"Give it back Gloria" jake said

"No you're not listening to me so i'm gonna do it myself" I said. I went right to the open field killed the five dudes. one of them threw a grenade at me I took it and threw it back at them and they died and I won.

"Woah fuck Gloria you did it" jake said shocked

"Don't be shocked bitch" I said playfully

"The thing you did with the grenade how is that even possible?!" jake asked

"Dude when a person throws a grenade you have exactly five seconds to throw it back before it explodes"

"Awesome" jake said "Sorry about what I said earlier"

"Naaaah don't worry about it man i'm used to it" I said. Billie then came in

"I can see that you guys are bonding" billie said smiling.

"Yeah we are. dad she just finished that stupid level i've been stuck on for days in one freaking minute" jake said

"Woah that's awesome Gloria" Billie said "ready to go Gloria?"

"Yeah let's go" I said

"We're are ya guys going" jake said

"We're going to the studio cause your dad wants to sign my band to Adeline. Wanna come?!" I said

"Can I come dad?" Jake asked

"Of course you can" billie said smiling "i'll be in the car"

"Ok I'm going to get my shoes" jake said happily and ran upstairs to get his shoes.

Jake came down and I took my guitar and my backpack and we headed for the car

"I call shotgun" I said before running to the car.

"Hey no fair" jake said. I beat him to the car and I ended up sitting shotgun. I put my guitar and backpack in the trunk then sat shotgun

"Ready to go?!" billie asked

"Yes" jake and I said in unison. billie started the car and we drove to Adeline.

"Let's listen to some music. crap I forgot my phone Gloria do you have your phone?" jake said

"Yeah hang on let me take it out" I took my phone out and plugged it in the AUX and I just pressed shuffle. then American idiot by green day started playing in the car. "I hope you like pop punk"

"Are you kidding me I love pop punk" jake said. then the three of us started singing to green day.

We finally reached Adeline records and I could see the dudes there. billie stopped the car I grabbed my guitar and backpack from the trunk and went to the dudes.

"Heyy dudes" I said

"Heyy billie" they all said

"Oh um this is billie he is the on who wants to sign us to his label and this is his son jake. these are Grubbs Bill-E and Mike they are they guys in the band" I said

"Nice to meet you guys" billie said "well let's go in and see what you are capable of"

We went into the same room I went into yesterday. what I saw was something I would never be able to unsee.
