The Demon Within

(Y/N)'s POV~

We had started to walk through the sewers, it's so gross, I hope Mack is here somewhere so I didn't come in here for nothing.

My shoes were ruined, it's all over my ankles, it reeks in here, and the boys keep annoying Beverly and I.

"EWWW RICHIE..I'M GONNA KILL YOU," I heard Stan yell from behind, me I turn around to see that Richie splashed Stan with the dirty water.

"HAHAHA, holy shit that's hilarious," Richie laughed.

"Come on," I said as I looked back towards what was in front of me.

We started to walk again everyone talking to me, that's when I heard it...very faint, so we must be kinda far.

"Shhhh," I said still looking forward putting a fist by me to make everyone stop moving.

We were still for a second, I heard nothing, but I had hope.

"What are you doing?" Beverly asked me but I shushed her again.

I heard it again, the painful scream, but it was a scream I had heard before..

"Mack," I whispered quietly but to where the rest of the group could hear me and then I took off running towards the scream the others behind me running.

The scream grew louder and louder as the water lowered down till there wasn't any of it.

I didn't pay much attention though my only focus was on my best friend.

3 more minutes passed until I was in the place where I saw my best friend...laying there curled up holding her ears screaming in pain and agony.

"AHHH GET OUT OF MY HEAD, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Mack was screaming and crying.

We all walked a little closer until everyone stopped as I kept walking up to her.

I started to walk around her so I could see her face.

"...Mack?" I asked quietly but my voice was still capable to echo through this empty space.

All of a sudden, she stopped she opened her eyes quickly and forcefully...her eyes orange and slowly looked at me without moving her body.

She was scaring me honestly, but I can't be scared she is my friend, but I guess she didn't feel the presence of Bill, Beverly, Stan, and Richie.

She bolted up quickly and grabbed my shoulders and whispered, "Help Me."

I guess the group heard her, I saw their terrified faces looking at us.

I guess Mack notice me looking behind her, she looked back to see them and they saw her eyes, she quickly bolted off of me, I saw the anger and hatred within her.

"you BrOuGhT THEM WITH YOU... YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL WHEN PEOPLE LEARN ABOUT THIS," She started to yell at me.

"I know...please calm down," I looked her in her eyes trying to be calming.

"Calm down? CALM DOWN.. YOU DON'T KNOW HALF THE SHIT I GO THROUGH YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT'S IT LIKE TO BE ME.. TELLING ME TO CALM DOWN I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE MAD!" She yelled as she started glowing white and blue...I don't know what is happening I've never seen this before.

"(Y/N), take everyone and leave," She said in the most calming voice as her eyes changed to an icy blue, though she looked terrified.

"O-Okay guys, lets go," I said

I walked towards them and...I couldn't just leave so we all hide where she couldn't sense us.
