The leaves under Kate's boots made a spine chilling crunch. A child was running around loose trying to scare a couple teens. How was she supposed to remain calm.
"Ah, dammit!" Henry tisked. "There's no signal in this damn place!" Kate rolled her eyes.
"So what? That isn't the problem here. " Kate stopped, the trees looked more unfamiliar than ever. "I think we're lost..."
Henry flung his phone into the air, catching it into his bare hands, he continued, the only thing that would entertain him for awhile.
...
It was getting darker, the clouds merged together making large storm clouds.
"I really think we should just leave him, Henry." No response. Kate looked up, her brother was missing. "Henry!?" How could she lose him!?
"Henry!!?--"
"Kate!" A voice echoed.
"H-Henry?" Kate looked around puzzled, it sounded like him. There before her was her brother, leeching onto a tree. He was struggling, a shoe from missing from his foot.
"K-Kate!! Help!"
"What's wrong!? What's happening!!?" Kate began to panic. Rushing to her younger brother, she grabbed a branch as a weapon.
"You lose~ You lose~" a faint voice kept repeating.
"Okay that's it we're leaving!!" Kate grabbed her younger brother's arm, they ran and ran until they were out the forest.

"That's not very nice..." She limped her way into the only chair she had in the living room. Her eyes peered out the glass. Her world was in vivid colors, despite what others might see. It was always a perfect time to play a game, but when no one wants to play with you anymore..
"It isn't so fun.."
-----------------------------------------------------------
"MOM!! MOM!!" Kate ran into the house, setting Henry down onto the couch, she went ahead and locked every door and window in the house."I..I don't think she's home." Henry managed to say. He had sprained his ankle badly and was laying in agony on the couch.
"Stay there, she could be upstairs!" Kate left her brother on the couch and made her way up the steps in a quick manner. She knocked on her mother's door till her knuckles ached.
"Mom?" Kate turned the door knob and looked into the room. Empty. She had no idea what she was going to do, it was best she called the cops first she thought then contact her mother before Henry's injury got worse.

Meanwhile across the town, in a building so tall, sat Ms. White. She worked for a big business in town incorporating future furniture. Her call over the phone was with a cranky old women who had ordered a pair of cultralized chairs for her dining room saying they were "too sturdy" for her old lady bum.
"Okay Mrs. Garnet...," Ms. White was nodding as if she needed to, as a way to show she understood even though they were over the phone. "Yes, I completely understand...I--yes, we'll bring you a softer pair. No, no..Haha no need to sue us." White gulped. "Alright, bye bye." She hung up. Setting the phone back down, White began to slump in her chair.
"Karren, I believe you have a phone call.." Jasmine, her coworker, was standing near the entrance to her desk.
"Is it that damn old lady again!?" Karen grunted.
Jasmine shook her head and brought the phone over to her. "It's your kids.."
