So, you've just started to take care of your natural hair. Where do you start? Well, first let's talk about what going natural means.
Going natural is regularly used for black women who have decided to stop putting heat or chemicals (relaxers or hair dye) in their hairs.
You might be wondering how do YOU start going natural? The answers simple. Throw out your heat products, relaxers, and hair dyes. If you have color in your hair now, let it fade out and don't do anymore dyes.
After you've gone natural, it's time to investigate the damage. Is it dry and frizzy? Split ends? Or do you have severe heat damage? If you have split ends or heat damage, the way that can be reversed is with scissors. (which will be made into a separate chapter since it's a big process). Dry and frizzy can be reversed with products and care.

Your hair won't exactly look like these examples but will at some degree. These examples are the worst of cases.
