I'm very sorry for using third person's view in half of the story. I just read a book and was used to it AND I'm so lazy to change it so please bear with me.
I couldn't believe it, I kissed my best friend and it felt good. I felt little sparks inside me when we pulled each other close. It was a nice feeling.
He stepped back to give me space. I'm very sure he felt nothing but i did. I felt sparks light up in my stomach. He just cleared his throat and made a small smile like he was trying to hide it.
"I'm sorry about that." he apologised chuckling.
"It's no problem C, I also gave in."I said.
"No emotions attached but that was nice"
"True" I agreed. Maybe i was just exaggerating, he also thought the kiss was nice. Maybe he felt the same way.
"You should get your beauty sleep before going to your cocky boss again."
"Let's go" I winked at him and his eyes lit up in excitement
"Let's go to an ice cream parlour" he yelled.
"You never seize to surprise me. You know me like the back of your palm" I jumped with him.
It was the morning to go back to the Anderson's house.
Daniel was already at our condo at 9:00am. I was pretty sure that he didn't want his mom to call only to find that I was still at Chases' condo.
"Bye Chase" I waved him goodbye as I left to the Anderson's mansion but this time I had a bad feeling as we neared their mansion. An unsure, insecure and undescribable feeling that made my stomach twist into knots.
"Ah Bella, it's so nice seeing you again" Veronica smiled, pulling Bella in for a tight hug.
Bella looked surprised at how someone could feel this happy at the sight of her. She smiled happily at the feeling of being love by someone other than Chase.
"Why so happy at my presence?" she asked a hint of laughter in her voice.
"I like you and I'm happy to see you" she hugged her again.
"I missed you too. Where are the kids" she turned around searching her surrounding.
"They went out to get their ears cleaned." She nodded.
She headed up the stair to her old-new room and placed her clothes in the drawer examining the room as she did so.
How long do I have to keep this up? Thank god I'm an optimistic person who will find good in all bad except her past. I learnt to forget my past I grew up, I learnt to let my happiness take over the sadness.
Now I have a better life. A new one that no one had to know who I was except for Chase whom I trust like my soul.
"Bella!" she heard Nathan's voice from downstairs. She was filled with happiness at the sound of his voice.
"Nate. How are you?" Nathan looked a little taller which made her smile.
"I missed you so much. The house was so boring without you. Cole and Danny were busy but created little time to play with me while Lilly kept talking about a guy she met." His shoulder dropped at the thought.
"But I'm here now, so all your worries are gone" she said excitedly and he jumped on her giggling like a girl.
They did all sort of things around the house.
"I want to try that thing I always see Cole doing" he said to Bella wishing and hoping she would agree to what he wanted to do.
"What is it?" she asked.
"I don't know its name and how to describe it but I can show you the room." he lied.
Bella nodded and he led the way. Once Bella opened the door and walked in the gym seeing punching bags, a balance beam, a boxing ring, a treadmill, heavy weights of different masses and lots of equipments to keep the body fit.
"No. You're to young." she concluded immediately. She wouldn't let him get hurt.
"But I want to be buff" he puffed his chest when he said the 'buff'.
"Of course you are buffed I just don't want you to get more buffed than Cole." he smiled a cheeky smile at her.
"OK, since yo said so" he pulled her out so they could go play video games in the living room.
"Do you guys ever sit for family movie night?" she asked him out of nowhere.
"Well when dad and mom were around we would watch movies probably once in four months or even in eight months. I just know it'll take a long time since everyone is busy" he let out a despondent sigh and she she felt his pain but hers was worse than his situation.
"From now on we'll watch movies every Saturday in two weeks." he hugged her tightly this time feeling happy while giving her a high five.
