Chapter 2: Mal's Digi-Image Problem

Five Minutes Later...
After getting cleaned up after the "cupcake incident", me and Mal went back to spray painting. Since we both felt really sorry for exploding a cupcake in Audrey's face, we're making it up to her by painting her a self portrait of her as her favorite heroine; which happens to be her mom, Aurora. As I was busy spraying some pink on the dress part, me and Mal heard someone else coming into the tent. We turned around and saw that it was Ben. "Hey Mal. Hi Genesis. You two busy?", he asked as I gave him a hug. "Nah, We're in the zone.", Mal said. "Can you two de-zone?", he asked. I then out a giggle and said "I'm sure we can de-zone it for a little bit." Mal then let out a laugh and said "Ok, those are not words. But I will give it to you two. Because one, Genesis, you're my best friend. And two, Ben, it's because you are cute." I then turned to Ben and said "We're just working on a gift for Audrey." "Oh, you mean after Mal's de-image?", he asked. "That's not a word.", Mal said. "Your digital image? Digi-image?", he said again. "Still not a word.", Mal said as she turned to her boyfriend again. "This.", Ben said as he showed me and Mal his phone. There was a new post on InstaRoyal and it had the picture of the cupcake incident that happened five minutes ago. No wonder why social media works fast. I scrolled down the picture and read the post. "Oh yeah, Mal's a princess in waiting alright. A princess just waiting to mess up?! #Princessaster?", I said as I finished reading the post. Mal then looked at the post and couldn't believe it either. Who would post something like that? "That's still treading.", Ben said. "Ok, my people may be evil and all. But what you Auradon people are doing to the English language is cruel.", Mal said. Me and her then went back to the portrait and showed it to Ben. "Not to worry though, because I'm going to make it up to Audrey by making this wicked portrait of her as her favorite heroine.", Mal said as we showed him the picture. The picture had Audrey in her mother's pink ball gown, and she also had on her mother's tiara."Looks great, right?", I asked Ben. He looked at it and said "Her mom. Ok, I understand that Genesis would do something like that because she's a princess. But Maleficent's daughter painting sleeping beauty's daughter, of sleeping beauty is kinda different." "Ok, so what should I do? Do some un-sleeping beautying?", Mal said. "That's not a word.", Ben said. "I'm teaching her how to be more Auradonine, Ben.", I told him. "I'm just telling her that it kinda sounds different to paint her mother's enemy. Besides Mal, remember family day?", Ben said as Mal went into fright. "Oh! Family day!", I said as I remembered what happened. After trying her best to make a good impression, she instead has her friends knock someone out. And still today, Mal tries her best to impress everyone. "Well, what do you want us to do? It's not like we gave Audrey Captain Hook's coat.", I joked. Mal then let out a laugh and said "Oh yeah! Beware for swear, Captain Hook's coat she will wear!" Mal's magic then changed Audrey's dress in the painting, and it turned into Captain Hook's red coat. I let out a laugh as I couldn't believe she did that. "Ok, funny. But stop.", Ben said as we both ignored him. "Or this one! Beware for swear, Cruella's scoll will give a scare!", I said as I used my magic to give the painting a Dalmatian scarf. Me and Mal started to laugh a lot more, but Ben kept telling us to stop. "Mal! Genesis! Seriously, enough with the magic!", he said. Mal then thought of one more funny spell and said "Beware for swear, sprout my mother's horns from Audrey's hair!" The painting then had Maleficent's horns on Audrey's head and I immediately started to laugh even harder. "Oh my gosh! Hahahaha!!!", I laughed as Mal started to laugh as well. "Ok, that was fun. But change it back before someone-", Ben said until he stopped. Me and Mal then stopped laughing and saw what he meant. We saw that someone took a picture of the painting and left. I then heard Ben's phone ring and saw that a new InstaRoyal post was just posted. And it had the picture of the painting and me and Mal laughing at it. "Oh no...", I said while looking embarrassed. "Sees it.", Ben said. "I have a digi-image problem.", Mal said.
