Chapter 7: Hooked On Ben

"Another Vk in Auradon! Are you the piratey one? *Gasp* do you have a hook?!", Ally asked CJ. I then got in front of everyone, got out my magic, and said "If she does, I'll protect you all!" "Wait a minute! All of those things that's been going on, they were all you?", Mal asked CJ. She then let out a smile and said "Oh stop! You'll make a girl blush. Actually, I'm kinda offended that you didn't find out sooner." "Where's Ben, CJ?", Mal asked her. "Wave hi, Benny~", CJ said as she was looking up at the ceiling. Because Ben came down and he was tied up. Mal was in shock and went over to go untie her boyfriend. I then looked at CJ and said "Wait! So, you were pretty much behind almost every?" "Oh come on, princess. Don't act like you don't know me.", CJ said as I didn't know what she was talking about. "I have never met you in my entire life!", I told her. "Well your aunts and uncles have, my father actually! And I'm just ashamed that you didn't give me a "royal welcome" when I came in three minutes ago.", CJ said. I then rolled my eyes at her and said "Why would I say "hi" to the daughter of the most psychotic villain of all time?" "You better watch it, princess! Because I know who you are, and I know what's your favorite treasure. And it happens to be that handsome man of yours!", CJ said as I completely turned mad. Not only she took Ben, but she also took Jim too. "What?! What did you do to my boyfriend?! You pirate freak!", I said as Carlos and Jay were holding onto my arms in order for me to not hurt CJ. She then looked up at the ceiling again and said "Oh Jimbo-Wimbo~ your precious jewel is looking for you~" "Precious jewel? *Gasp* Jim!", I said as I saw Jim coming down and he was all tied up as well. I went over to him to take the piece of tape off his mouth and tried to untie him. "Oh Jim, are you ok? Did the mean pirate girl hurt you?", I asked him. "Actually, I think I lost all control in my arms and legs.", he said as I used my magic to make a sharp crystal to cut the ropes. As I was trying to cut him free, CJ said "So Malzzie, what's first? We storm the castle? Take prisoners? Manically laugh in peoples faces? Hahahahaha!!!! Oh! We're going to free the hostages. Interesting choice, but you and your mom have always thought outside the box." "CJ, why would you do this?", Mal asked her. CJ then let out a smile and said "Ah, why wouldn't we? We're villain kids. It's what we do! You really need to lock up your stuff. Stealing that outfit from you was like taking candy from a baby. And Mal, framing you with that phony bracelet bit was just icing on the old cake. I tried ruining your party dresses, but apparently these Vks have gone soft. What is it you Auradon kids call it, save the day?" I felt like she was never going to shut up, but she was telling us that she was the one causing all the trouble. "Oh! And let's not forget the "No Show!" I gotta handed to you little Ms. Bippity Boppity over here. A pumpkin car? Not my thing! Stealing the carpet from you two was the most fun I had yet!", CJ said. "You stole the carpet? *Chuckles* nice! You know, maybe we can meet up after your little hostile takeover. You can give me some pointers.", Jay said as CJ shut him up so she can finish talking. "And then the grandest of them all! Cutting that DJ and microphone cord, just so our little Freddie can have her moment in the spotlight. It's the least I can do as a thank you for seeking into Auradon in the first place.", CJ said as we all gasped again. "Freddie?!", Mal said. "What?!", I said as I cut the rope that was holding Jim and he fell on the ground. "Surprise.", Freddie said as none of us were happy. "You've been hiding CJ this entire time?", Mal asked her. I then looked at Freddie and said "Freddie, how could you?! I invited you into Auradon, I become insist best friends with you when we first met, I even let you keep some of the jewels that you stole from me, and this is how you thank me?! By cutting my microphone cord?! Why Freddie?! Why?!" "Wh-Genesis! I-I can explain!", she said. CJ then walked up to her and said "And so can I. As you can see, princess. She was following orders. Freddie is my second in command." "Uh no! We're partners!", Freddie said. "We are! I tell you what to do and you do it! Partners!", CJ said as she wrapped her arm around Freddie. But Freddie moved away from her and said "Excuse me? I spent my whole life living in my dad's shadow! And I'm not about to live in yours!" "I know, my dad never let me steal the ship either. But we don't half to be just like our parents.", CJ said as Mal tried to reason with her. "Exactly! We make our own choices.", Mal said. "We can be scribblers on the scone together!", CJ told Freddie as she didn't understand what she said. "Uh, translation?", she asked. "Partners, for real!", CJ said as she and Freddie shook hands and everybody gasped again. "What?!", me and Mal said. "We're going to pillage and plunger together!", CJ said as I walked over to Freddie. "Freddie, I thought we were friends.", Mal told her. "We are friends.", she said. I then looked at her and said "Then why are you pillaging and plungering us? Ok, that just sounds weird." She then took off my tiara and I heard CJ say "Because her captain commands her to pillage and plunger." "Still sounds weird.", Mal said as Freddie put back on my tiara and looked at CJ. "Can we go back to you commanding me? That's not very partner like.", Freddie said. "You're saying it like its a bad thing.", CJ said as I heard Jane say it is. "I know that the Aks are lame!", Freddie said as Audrey looked offended. "But at least they don't go back on their word!", Freddie said again as I crossed my arms around me like Mal. "I'm disappointed in you, Freddie! I thought you were badder than this! Looks like I'll half to be partner-less in crime. So long, squarist of them all!", CJ said as she got on the magic carpet and flew away. Freddie then looked at me and Mal and said "I'm sorry about everything. I guess, for being kinda lame. Auradon is pretty cool. Do you two forgive me? Are we still, you know, friends?" "If I didn't forgive anyone who was working with a caniving scoundrel, I wouldn't have any friends.", Mal said. I then looked at Freddie and said "Yeah, I forgive you too. Even though you broke my microphone and lied to everyone, at least you did the right thing. Now get ready for a hug, shadow girl! Because I'm going to hug you!" I then gave Freddie a hug and she said "Oh! Wow, I never actually knew that a hug would feel so great." "Trust me, I do this all the time. So you're going to half to get use to me.", I told her. "I don't think I'll ever understand you people.", Audrey said. "Shouldn't we go after her?", Jane asked. Mal then looked at Freddie and said "I don't know. Freddie, is there anything else we should know about?" "Not from me!", she replied. "Well, let's go scare her off tomorrow.", Mal said as I giggled. "Uh, I know this is sweet and all. But can someone please untie me? I think I lost all control in my arms and legs again.", Jim said as Freddie went over to help untie him and Ben. I then looked at everyone and said "You know what, I learned something today. Even though some people are born good and bad. That doesn't mean that whatever category that person is, they can still change in the end." Mal then smiled at me and said "She's right! She maybe a villain in crime. But the only crime here was wasting this awesome party. And I think we learned a lot more about being good. Right, Evie?" "Right!", Evie agreed. "Let's have a wicked good time! Group selfie!", Mal said as we all took one big selfie together. I then smiled and said "Ok, I think this calls for a celebration now! Who's with me?" Everyone then cheered and I held onto Jim's hand. "Oh, Genesis. I'm sorry for doubting your friends.", he said as I looked at him. "Well, you didn't doubt all of them. These kids are nothing like any other person you've doubted over the years.", I told him. He then looked at me and said "Do you forgive me?" I then went in for a kiss and he kissed me back. "I'll take that as a yes!", he said as I giggled. I then turned around and saw that everyone was starring at us both. "What are you all looking at? This is supposed to be a party! Let's get this performance started! Lonnie, get the music on! And Freddie, get on the stage with that guitar of yours and help me.", I said as she smiled at me and everyone cheered again.

Me and Freddie decided to sing together and everyone adored us both. Mal, Evie, and Jordan then came on stage and danced with us. Carlos, Jay, Ben, and Jim then came on to the stage to dance with us also. Jay was dancing with Evie, I was dancing with Jim, Mal was dancing with Ben, and Carlos was dancing with Ally. As me and Freddie still kept on singing, Audrey and Jane came on the stage and danced with us too. Now this was a party. I was so happy that the night turned out perfect in the end, even though there was a lot of craziness going on. But I was so happy to spend the night with my friends and boyfriend. "Best night ever!", I said in my mind.
