Faith POV

I walk down the path from Shane's house, past the famous car, fuming. I felt so hurt, that he thought of me as evil for no reason what-so-ever. I turn right at the bottom of his house, walking on bare-foot. The stones in my feet killed, but I was too upset to care. I walk down the unfamilier streets, trying to find one I recognised. But clearly Shane and I lived in different areas as I quickly became lost. I walk as the sun goes down, remembering how this day had started, me sat under a tree thinking how beautiful the sun-rise was. I sped up, trying to at least find the main road.

Then it started to rain. Heavy droplets fall onto my head, reflecting my mood brilliantly. Tears start to fall down my face, mixing with the rain. My hair sticks to my head, clinging to me like grabbing hands. My clothes, still being my PJ's are super thin and I soon begin to shiver as I walk. I scream out in frustration, all the houses look the same in this area. A person coming out of their house looks over at me. I blush, embarrased and begin to walk again.

"Hey! You look lost" I jump as they appear next to me, a smile dancing on their lips. Wait a minute, she was across the road. I jump, again, and she laughs.

"Oh I know you have powers too, I can sense it" her voice reassures my calculating brain, it was very melodic. She walks me over to her house, I take in her appearance at the same time. She has long red hair which has been straightened recently. Her face is small, her eyes a bright brown colour. She wears jeans and a t-shirt covered in a Tobuscus Hoodie, a bright yellow one. She opens the door and lets me in, calling for her friend, Katness. I am guided into their living room which has a lot of posters from different YouTubers, luckily for me, no Shane Dawson ones. Note to self, when I get onto a computer, unsubscribe from all Shane's channels.

Katness enters and I am taken back by her. She has long blond hair that cups her face like a hat. Her blue eys sparkle as she sits on the sofa opposite me. She reminds me of an old friend who died from a disease I can no longer remember.

Her clothing style is like my own, Emo with a hint of nerd. I find myself relaxing around her. Yet when her friend comes in with a towel, I stiffen slightly. I have a feeling deep inside of me that tells me this friend is not someone I should associate myself with. But I dispel the nagging feeling, accepting the towel gratefully. I start to dry myself as they introduce themselves properly. The one who has snuck up on me was called Ebony and Katness smiled when I brought up how alike her name was to the Hunger Games character.

"I was named before that book came out. Since then, I have been constantly asked about my arrow shooting skills" Ebony and I laugh, while I discretely wipe the tears from my cheeks, pretending they are rain drops. The two slowly crack my frosty exterior and I forget about Shane and his out-burst, enjoying myself as we swap stories and play video games. I ask if I can stay the night and the two giggle, suggesting a sleep-over.

I put on one of Katness's PJ's as mine still need to dry and we spend the night laughing about the minor details of our lives. I get to really know the girls I was staying with, they both have powers. Katness can do an Astral Projection type of thing so she can go out of her body. Ebony has super-speed and can shoot fricking Fireballs! I gasp as she produces two big fire-balls in the palms of her hands. She then disappears and returns in a flash with marshmallows which we toast over her hands. But the Super-speed makes me think so Shane, so I blot it from my mind by getting back into the girly chatter which I was so unused to. We are about to continue when a loud knock makes all three of us look up.

Ebony extinguishes her fireballs walking over to the door slowly. She has good cause to walk slow, it was 1 am at this point, so a caller was a little unusual. Katness and I stand up slowly too, hands poised to use our gifts. Ebony opens the door and is shoved, flying into the wall. Katness screams and runs over to her. I stand in front of both as Katness trys to rouse her friend. Cue evil entrance music as Nina enters with her twin terrors.
